What is the current Kalshi bonus?
The current Kalshi bonus is the 'Exclusive $60 Bonus' sign-up offer. Eligible new customers can register with the Kalshi promo code MAX60 to access the promotion. Notably, while some Kalshi offers advertise larger amounts, their actual value is random, varying by customer.
With code MAX60, completing the eligibility requirements will get you the fixed $60 bonus.
To qualify, complete $25 in eligible trading activity on Kalshi. You can then browse Kalshi's real-world event contracts across sports, politics, culture, and other categories, making it one of the country's best prediction markets in 2026. Review the current promotion terms before trading for the latest funding requirements, qualifying activity, reward conditions, and expiration details.
Which Kalshi bonus is the most valuable?
Kalshi currently offers three new-user prediction market promos: a $60 bonus via MAX60, a standard $55 offer, and an up to $2,000 reward. All three share the same $25 trading requirement; the main differences are the maximum amounts and their structure. For MAX60, the bonus is a straightforward, fixed $60 reward. The $55 offer is the same, just $5 less. The up to $2,000 promo offers a randomized bonus amount.
Why is the Kalshi promo code MAX60 the best?
Christian Stringer, Prediction Markets Editor
What about the Kalshi $2,000 offer?
Kalshi’s up to $2,000 offer comes with a caveat: the bonus is completely randomized. While the potential upside is lucrative, the randomized nature means customers could receive as little as $10, compared to a guaranteed $60 welcome offer.
Personally, the expected value matters more to me than the maximum advertised prize. That said, your preference may differ. If you're comfortable taking a shot at the sizeable reward, knowing your chances of getting the $2,000 are low, the variable promo is a reasonable alternative.
The table below shows why the current $60 promo is my preferred choice, since there's no chance of getting less.
| Kalshi offer | Current offer | Alternative offer | Standard offer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Qualifying offer | Exclusive $60 Bonus | Randomized $2,000 bonus | $55 bonus |
| Bonus structure | Fixed, guaranteed bonus | Variable bonus | Fixed bonus |
| Minimum bonus | $60 | $10 | $55 |
| Maximum bonus | $60 | $2,000 (low chance) | $55 |
| Chance of receiving more than $25 | 100% | Low chance | 100% |
| Best for | Customers who prefer the highest guaranteed value | Customers comfortable with a randomized chance at high value | Customers who prefer a straightforward, fixed bonus |

How to get $60 with the Kalshi bonus
To qualify for the Kalshi sign-up offer, you must create and verify an account. I've completed this process myself, so I've explained the steps you need to follow below:
1. Sign up and verify
To begin, I needed to register with Kalshi. Once on the landing page, select 'Sign Up' and enter the Kalshi promo code MAX60 during registration.
I had to provide personal information to complete the sign-up process, such as my date of birth, phone number, and location. Kalshi also asked me to verify my Social Security Number (SSN) and a form of ID. This could be a photo of a driver's license or passport, along with an accompanying selfie to confirm identity. I received an email requesting this information.
These are standard Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols implemented across all event-trading platforms. They help keep the site secure by verifying each user's identity and maintaining a legitimate platform. It's a simple process that only took me about five minutes.
2. Deposit
Next up was adding funds to my account. In my Kalshi wallet, I clicked the 'Deposit Cash' button at the top of the screen, then selected my preferred payment method. From here, there were really two routes I could take:
- Make the minimum $10 deposit and slowly work my way up to trading the required $25 amount.
- Deposit $25 and meet the qualifying trade requirement immediately to unlock the $60 bonus.
I chose the second option since I wanted to test how quickly I could unlock the reward. For me, the deposit was essentially instantaneous, letting me start sifting through available markets right away.
3. Trade
Now I was ready to start trading. I explored the available predictive markets and chose one I wanted to trade on: the 2027 NFL Champion. To meet the offer requirement, I made sure to transact at least $25 on Kalshi's Predictions product, choosing a high-volume market with clear rules and long-term settlement.
4. Withdraw earnings
After using any awarded bonus credit on Kalshi's Predictions product, I could withdraw eligible cash proceeds, but not the original bonus credit itself. I just had to click the 'Transfers' section of my Kalshi profile and choose 'Withdraw Funds.' I selected a linked payment method, specifically an online bank transfer, and entered the amount I wanted to withdraw. Honestly, it was incredibly straightforward, and I didn't feel like I had to jump through any unnecessary hoops.
How to sign up for Kalshi with promo code MAX60
- The Kalshi sign-up flow is pretty straightforward, and these screenshots show the main steps before you reach the funding stage. In the first image, I start on Kalshi’s homepage, tap Sign up, choose Google, Apple, or email, and then enter my email address.

- The second image shows the account-verification steps that follow. Kalshi sends a code to my email, asks for my phone number, prompts me to select a password, and then sends a second verification code by text. This is also where I can tap “Got a promo code?” and enter Kalshi promo code MAX60 before continuing.

Kalshi's NFL Power Rankings and playoff tools
Kalshi’s NFL Power Rankings are getting more useful as the season develops. The rankings combine live playoff, conference, and championship market prices, which account for 65% of the formula, with schedule-adjusted on-field performance making up the remaining 35%.
With four weeks of results now feeding into the rankings, I can start comparing actual performance with what Kalshi traders expect over the rest of the season. San Francisco is 5-0 and currently sits No. 1, while Kalshi’s NFL standings page puts each team’s record alongside live division-title probabilities.
I like using the two tools together because they make it easy to spot where early-season results and longer-term market expectations agree, and where traders still aren't convinced by what they've seen on the field.
Kalshi NFL standings
The standings page pairs each team’s actual record with live market-implied division probabilities. That makes it easy to see where early results and trader expectations align, or where the market still expects a team to recover despite a slow start.
Kalshi Playoff Bracket page
Kalshi also offers a projected playoff bracket built from live conference-winner and championship market prices. It gives me a simple visual snapshot of which teams the market currently expects to reach the postseason and make a deeper run. Together, the Power Rankings, standings, and playoff bracket give me three ways to track how Kalshi’s NFL prices react as the season unfolds.
Trending on Kalshi
The trending markets on Kalshi in October 2026 include Los Angeles Mayor winner, Texan Senate winner, Katie Zacharia out as White House Press Secretary, 2026 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Hurricane Isaias category, US 500 Perpetuals, Brazil Presidential election winner, cricket, Los Angeles Mayor winner, Which party will win the U.S. Senate, 2027 NFL Champion, Jobs number, Pro Baseball Champion, NFL MVP, English Premier League Champion, 'Who will be Trump's next Press Secretary,' the price of gold, 2028 Democratic presidential nominee, and the 2026 Primaries.
You'll also find easily accessible tabs for the Midterms Hub and Company Quarterlies, where you can trade on upcoming KPIs.
⚾ MLB Championship Series takes center stage
The MLB postseason is down to four teams, with Cleveland Guardians vs. Tampa Bay Rays in the ALCS and Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS. I'm watching the upcoming Championship Series games alongside Kalshi's pennant and World Series contracts as both matchups move deeper into the postseason. Pitching changes, injuries, and shifting championship probabilities give me plenty to compare as the World Series approaches.
🏈 NFL Week 6 brings another busy slate
NFL Week 6 gets Thursday underway with Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos, followed by another full Sunday schedule. I'm watching how injury reports, lineup updates, and early trading activity influence Kalshi's weekly game prices before kickoff. Super Bowl, conference, division, playoff, and MVP contracts also give me longer-term markets to compare as the regular season progresses.

What is Kalshi?
Kalshi is a federally regulated platform for trading event outcomes on prediction markets. Traders can buy and sell simple, transparent contracts that settle based on the outcome of real-world events. Markets revolve around a yes/no proposition, with prices adjusting dynamically based on traders’ perceived probability that the event will occur. When the event concludes, if you are correct, the contract “honors” at a predetermined price; if you are incorrect, it expires at $0.
Kalshi’s unique approach powers trades between users on an open exchange, rather than positioning the platform as the counterparty, as a traditional bookmaker or sportsbook would. Market forces establish prices rather than a house advantage, and participants can buy and sell before an event concludes as new information becomes available. Trades are settled on Kalshi's own CFTC-regulated exchange, giving it more of an exchange feel than a typical betting app.
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulates Kalshi as a Designated Contract Market. Instead of being treated as gambling, Kalshi’s contracts are structured as “financial instruments” that track the outcomes of future events. Trades can be executed across Kalshi’s diverse selection of markets — ranging from sports and politics to economics, pop culture, and tech — using the familiar U.S. dollar rather than cryptocurrency.
For a state-specific look at how that federal framework applies in Florida, see our Is Kalshi legal in Florida? guide.
Is Kalshi legit?
Yes. Kalshi is a federally regulated prediction market exchange overseen by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). However, federal regulation doesn't mean every Kalshi contract is automatically permitted in every state. Several state regulators argue that sports event contracts fall under their gambling laws, and courts have reached different conclusions.
Here's what matters when I assess Kalshi's legitimacy:
- Federal regulation: Kalshi operates as a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market (DCM), subject to federal exchange rules, oversight, and market surveillance.
- Security and compliance: Kalshi reports SOC 2 Type II compliance and uses account-verification and data-security measures. These protections don't eliminate trading risks or guarantee that every transaction will be profitable.
- State-level disputes: Kalshi maintains that federal law governs its event contracts, while several states argue their gambling laws also apply. Some have obtained court orders restricting particular markets, while other cases remain unresolved.
Rest assured, you can trade at Kalshi with confidence thanks to these compliance standards.

Kalshi legal status in six key states
| State | Current status | What it means for traders |
|---|---|---|
| Ohio | Enforcement risk | A federal appeals court ruled against Kalshi in September 2026. Sports markets have not been confirmed shut down, but state enforcement remains a risk. |
| Tennessee | Enforcement risk | The same appeals court overturned Kalshi's preliminary protection against state enforcement. Sports-market access could change. |
| Nevada | Restricted | Court orders restrict sports, election, and entertainment contracts. |
| Washington | Partially restricted | The court order blocks sports, election, and several other market categories. Certain financial and economic markets remain permitted under the court order. |
| Connecticut | Litigation ongoing | State regulators have challenged Kalshi's sports contracts. Trading has not been confirmed shut down, but litigation and enforcement risks remain. |
| New York | Litigation ongoing | Kalshi faces state legal challenges and an ongoing federal appeal. No statewide Kalshi market shutdown has been confirmed. |
Where is Kalshi available?
Kalshi operates across most of the United States, but availability depends on the state, contract category, and current court restrictions. Nevada and Washington have significant market restrictions, while Michigan also has a court-ordered restriction on sports contracts. Other states, including Ohio, Tennessee, Connecticut, and New York, have ongoing legal disputes that could affect future access.
Eligible customers can use the MAX60 promo code where the offer is available, but access to Kalshi doesn't automatically mean every contract or promotion is eligible in that location. I recommend checking the current restrictions before depositing or trading.
California and Georgia are two of those eligible states; for state-specific breakdowns, see our Is Kalshi legal in California? and Is Kalshi legal in Georgia? guides.

*Legal restrictions apply in certain states. Ohio, Tennessee, Connecticut, and New York face ongoing regulatory disputes, while Michigan restricts sports event contracts. State legal status and promotional eligibility are not the same thing; verify both before registering.
Kalshi promo code for existing customers
Currently, I don't see any Kalshi promos that are available for existing users, other than referral offers. However, some special promotions may be available from time to time via a Kalshi bonus code. If the situation changes, I will list the bonuses and respective codes in this section.
Kalshi promo code vs. referral code
It's important to understand the difference between the Kalshi referral code and the Kalshi promo code MAX60 for the welcome offer.
Kalshi's friend-referral program is separate, so they can't be combined. I've provided a table outlining the differences between these two sign-up methods:
| Kalshi promo code | Kalshi friend-referral program | |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus amount | Exclusive $60 Bonus | Separate reward |
| Sign-up method | MAX60 | Eligible link |
| Where to find | Promo code shown above | Link in the 'Account' section |
| When to use | Enter during registration | Open the eligible link before registering |
| Requirements to qualify | Enter the promo code, deposit at least $10, and transact at least $25 on Kalshi's Predictions product | Must meet Kalshi's eligibility requirements, including transacting at least $25 |
| Claim limit | One per Kalshi account | Subject to Kalshi's current terms |
| Offer's total value | $60 | Varies under Kalshi's current terms |
| Reward expiration | Bonus credit expires seven days after it is granted | Subject to Kalshi's current terms |
Kalshi isn't the only prediction market with a separate refer-a-friend program. Polymarket gives both users $25 in trading credits after a qualifying referral, and existing users can earn up to $350. You can compare the two programs in our Polymarket referral code guide.
Kalshi platform review
I find Kalshi’s 'Yes' or 'No' contract format can be easier for new users to understand than traditional odds because markets operate on a single proposition and prices are shown in cents. Specifically, I can choose “Yes” or “No” for each real-life event, such as winner/loser, first place/second place, or outright winner. Its tagline, "Trade the Future," rings true to me. Kalshi is unequivocally one of the best alternative apps like Polymarket.
I feel Kalshi is best for users who want to speculate on real-world outcomes. It is a great option for traders and sports trading fans, but it also has niche appeal for data analysts and political enthusiasts. The platform is ideal for tracking economic trends, sports form, data, and my personal favorite, election polls. For example, during the U.S. presidential election, Kalshi initially showed Donald Trump as the favorite.

"Kalshi is hands down one of the best apps I’ve ever used! It’s not just another trading platform — it’s an innovative, exciting, and engaging way to make decisions based on real-world events. The interface is sleek, user-friendly, and makes navigating the markets a breeze, even for beginners like me."
- App Store user
"I've been really enjoying Kalshi so far. The interface is clean, intuitive, and actually feels thoughtfully designed instead of rushed. Everything loads smoothly, navigation makes sense, and I didn't have to "figure it out" — which is honestly rare for a lot of apps these days. What I appreciate most is that it feels like the developers actually care about the user experience."

Kalshi app review
Kalshi is one of the most popular prediction market apps available in 2026, offering users access to prediction markets through both a mobile browser and a dedicated app. While the HTML5 mobile site is clean, responsive, and easy to use, I find the native Kalshi app delivers a better overall experience thanks to smoother navigation and a mobile-first layout. I enjoy its recently added features, like push notifications and two-factor authentication, both of which are useful for my daily trading.
The transition between desktop and mobile is seamless, and the app includes everything you need to trade on the go, from browsing markets and managing payments to contacting customer support.
🍎 Kalshi iOS app
The Kalshi iOS app is free on the App Store and gives users full access to the platform’s prediction markets in a polished mobile environment. It currently has a 4.8 rating across over 603K reviews. At 130.3 MB and growing rapidly, it is a fairly sizeable download, but that extra space delivers a more complete native experience than using the mobile browser version. I found the app easy to navigate, with quick access to active markets, account settings, deposits, withdrawals, and promotions. In fact, I noticed the app's size shrank significantly in the last update, from over 300 MB, and it keeps shrinking.
Entering the Kalshi promo code MAX60 is just as straightforward on iPhone as on desktop.

Kalshi iOS app
🤖 Kalshi Android app
I get the same core experience on Android, with the Kalshi app offering full market access, payment options, and account functionality in a layout optimized for smaller screens. Reviews are positive, with a 4.7 rating across 132K reviews. From what I've been monitoring, the rating has slipped slightly over the last few months.
The app feels modern and intuitive, and it preserves the same look and functionality across devices. That consistency matters, especially when I switch between desktop and mobile throughout the day and want the same clean, uncluttered experience every time I log in.
📱 Kalshi app design
Kalshi’s mobile design is simple, modern, and usability-focused. The app avoids unnecessary clutter and instead focuses on making markets easy to browse, track, and trade. I liked how naturally the interface translated to mobile, with key sections clearly laid out and an overall experience that felt very similar to the desktop site. I was genuinely impressed by the thoughtful layout and how easy it is to browse.
That familiarity helps new users settle in quickly, while the native app still adds enough mobile-specific functionality to feel worthwhile. Features like push notifications and two-factor authentication also make the app feel better suited for regular day-to-day use than the browser version.
📈 Recent Kalshi app improvements
Kalshi has continued refining its app with updates focused on stability and performance. The most recent update, Version 9.10.22, was released in October 2026 and included bug fixes, performance upgrades, and improvements to the NFL Power Rankings page and weather markets. While the app was already solid, updates like these are encouraging because they show Kalshi is actively improving the user experience rather than leaving the mobile product static. From my monitoring, Kalshi updates its app two to three times a week, which is great to see.
As the app grows, it is also becoming a more robust standalone platform, which should appeal to users who prefer to place trades and manage their accounts entirely on mobile.

Kalshi vs traditional sportsbooks explained
I've seen my friends sometimes confuse Kalshi with traditional sportsbooks like FanDuel or DraftKings. Here’s how I explain to them how Kalshi’s platform operates differently:
Traditional sportsbooks
- You bet at fixed odds set by the house
- Odds contain built-in margin (“vig”)
- You’re locked into your bet until the event resolves
Kalshi
- You trade contracts priced at current probabilities
- Prices move like stocks/options based on market info
- Trade contracts anytime before resolution
Trading probabilities vs betting odds
When I bet on sports, I place a wager at odds determined by the bookmaker. The odds are quoted with a built-in margin that ensures a house edge. Once I've placed my bet, I’m committed until the event is over unless I accept a cash-out option at select sportsbooks.
On Kalshi, I buy and sell contracts priced at their current probability. For example, a contract trading at $0.62 implies about a 62% chance of that outcome occurring. New information can cause prices to rise or fall as other traders buy and sell. Market prices constantly fluctuate in response to news, data releases, changes in odds, etc.
No line setting by a house
At a traditional sportsbook, I'm betting against the house. The sportsbook “lays the odds,” takes the opposite side of my bet, and profits from volume and pricing edges.
Kalshi does not set odds or bet against me. It operates an exchange-style marketplace where I deal only with other traders. Kalshi provides market-making services and charges fees, but prices are always determined by market supply and demand.
Ability to easily exit positions
When I bet with a sportsbook, I'll usually have to wait for the event’s conclusion to learn my result. Some books offer an instant cash-out feature, but this option isn’t always available.
On Kalshi, I can buy and sell contracts up until the moment of resolution. If an injury happens, a forecast changes, or your opinion shifts, I can always exit my position early. I can trade whenever I want at market prices to cut my losses or take profits.
Regulation and legality
In the United States, sportsbooks are considered gambling operators and regulated at the state level. That’s a huge win for many Americans, because you’ll find Kalshi available in many states where traditional sports betting isn’t permitted.
The federal government regulates Kalshi through the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Because Kalshi's event contracts are classified as financial products, many states allow Kalshi to operate, even in regions where sports betting isn’t available.
For a state-specific breakdown of how that framework applies in New York, see our Is Kalshi legal in New York? guide.
What markets can you trade on Kalshi?
Sports event trading is a new Kalshi platform. Still, it continues to grow, offering markets in several niches: Basketball (NBA), football (NFL), baseball (MLB), hockey (NHL), F1, tennis, soccer, and golf. As Kalshi grows in popularity, expect more markets to emerge. This is one of the fastest-growing platforms available, so keep that in mind. Recently, Kalshi has added markets for MMA, cricket, boxing, lacrosse, Aussie rules, rugby, darts, NASCAR, chess, squash, sailing, and even contracts for the Boston Marathon.
The last NBA Playoffs marked the first time Kalshi listed single-game NBA prediction markets. Since then, Kalshi has expanded this format to other popular sports, letting you wager on a single game rather than the entire season. The platform continues to expand its selection.
Politics is the most popular and robust category to have become mainstream during the most recent U.S. presidential election. Other options include:
Culture (music, movies, awards shows like the Oscars, celebrities, review ratings, TV, video games)
Crypto (Bitcoin, Dogecoin, hourly values, Ethereum)
Weather (temperature, climate change, natural disasters, weather predictions)
Economics (interest rates, inflation, employment, consumer spending, energy)
Companies (Elon Musk, CEOs, layoffs, product launches)
Financials (NASDAQ, currency, treasuries)
Tech & Science (AI, space, energy, papers)
Health (disease spread, COVID)
World (foreign economies, international politics)
Kalshi NFL Player Props
Kalshi debuted individual player prop markets ahead of last NFL season, and I can now buy and sell contracts on a range of player-specific outcomes. One of the first examples was 'Who will score the first touchdown?' for the Cowboys-Eagles season opener, and I see that as another sign of how quickly Kalshi keeps expanding its sports offering.
Kalshi live event trading
I can continue trading Kalshi contracts after an event begins, which gives me more flexibility to react to changing circumstances in real time. I find this especially useful when I’m following live data and want to buy or sell a position as the market moves.
Kalshi 2026 U.S. midterms
I also like using Kalshi for the 2026 U.S. midterms because it offers real-time markets across the primaries, along with several useful tracking tools. I can use the interactive primary election calendar, browse the 'Markets to watch' section, and filter markets by state and political party to quickly find the races I’m most interested in.
Kalshi weather prediction markets
Weather is becoming one of Kalshi’s fastest-growing market categories. I can trade on outcomes such as daily temperatures, precipitation, and broader climate events, with prices changing as forecasts and new weather data come in.
Kalshi strengthened this category in August 2026 through a partnership with The Weather Company, which now provides verified meteorological data for certain weather-market settlements. Kalshi’s real-time probabilities will also appear in select experiences across The Weather Channel app and weather.com. Kalshi says its climate and weather markets have grown 500% year over year and are pacing toward $1.1 billion in annualized volume.

Kalshi Combos
Combos on Kalshi let you group multiple event outcomes into a single trade, somewhat resembling a parlay at sportsbooks. Rather than wagering on each market individually, you can link a few together to form a custom position tailored to what you expect to happen. These trades are higher risk but also higher reward when they hit.
Kalshi Combos are a key product feature that has pushed sports volume into the stratosphere. The key to understanding combos is that they pay out based on the product of the final settlement values of each leg. If all legs fully resolve to $1, then the combo pays $1. If one leg partially resolves to $0, then the combo pays $0. And if one leg partially resolves to another value, like $0.70, that number factors into the payout as well. Combos are currently available on pro football, pro basketball, and some mention markets.
Creating a combo is simple. Kalshi features a combo builder within the app that lets you assemble events as they get closer to occurring. Once you submit a combo, Kalshi issues a Request For Quote (RFQ) to the market. This means the system makes a request to other traders to see if they would be willing to take the opposite side of your trade and at what price.
Combo payouts are determined based on how each leg of the combo resolves, even in the case of an unexpected outcome. If one leg of your combo is voided (such as a player market where the player never enters the game), then the combo is not voided. Instead, Kalshi treats each leg independently and multiplies the results.
For example, if you purchased a 3-leg combo and one leg resolved to pay $0.50, with the remaining legs resolving to pay $1.00, your payout would be $0.50 per contract. This allows a simple way to express a more nuanced opinion about an outcome of a game or event while keeping the payout math straightforward.
Kalshi Pro
Kalshi Pro feels like the platform is finally taking the training wheels off. The new desktop terminal is built for active traders who want to monitor, compare, and manage dozens of markets without bouncing between tabs or losing track of price movement.
I can use the same Kalshi account, balance, and exchange, but the experience is much closer to a professional trading workstation than the standard Kalshi interface. Everything is designed around speed, visibility, and the ability to manage multiple positions at once.
Take the Kalshi Pro tour
The first thing that stands out is the multi-market canvas. I can open several markets in one workspace, arrange them however I want, and save the layout for later. That should be especially useful during busy trading windows when sports, politics, economics, and breaking-news markets are all moving at once. Kalshi Pro also includes a real-time market screener covering roughly 2,000 markets. Instead of manually searching for opportunities, I can scan the exchange for active markets, price movement, and potential trades from one screen.
The biggest upgrade, though, is the new perpetuals trading interface. It comes with:
- Licensed TradingView charts
- Adjustable leverage
- Built-in risk-management tools
- A more advanced order-entry experience
- Live market data in a desktop-first layout
To learn more, check out our Kalshi perpetual futures guide.
What makes Kalshi Pro different?
Kalshi Pro is not a separate exchange or a different account tier. It connects directly to the same Kalshi wallet and market ecosystem, but gives more experienced traders a much stronger set of tools. That makes it a clear step up from the standard app for anyone who trades frequently, follows several markets at once, or wants deeper charting and risk controls. It also brings Kalshi closer to the feel of a full-service financial exchange rather than a simple prediction market app.
How to maximize your Kalshi sign-up bonus
Getting the Kalshi welcome bonus is only the first step. I want to make the most of my bonus credit by choosing the right markets, understanding trading costs, and avoiding unnecessary risks. Here are five ways I approach the offer.
🎯 Choose markets you understand
I prefer starting with sports or events I already follow closely rather than jumping into unfamiliar markets. Kalshi covers everything from NFL games and championship futures to economics, weather, and politics. Understanding the event, contract rules, and settlement conditions helps me make more informed trades.
💰 Make your bonus credit go further
I don't need to use my entire Kalshi bonus on one prediction. Spreading eligible bonus credit across smaller trades gives me more opportunities to explore the platform and understand how prices move. I also check the bonus terms first, including any expiration dates, trading restrictions, or withdrawal requirements.
📊 Compare prices and trading fees
A contract's price matters just as much as the prediction itself. Before trading, I compare Yes and No prices, review Kalshi's transaction fees, and consider whether the potential payout justifies the risk. I also check similar markets to see whether another contract offers a better opportunity.
🔍 Check liquidity before trading
Not every Kalshi market has the same trading activity. I look at available orders, bid-ask spreads, and market depth before committing my bonus credit. Low-liquidity markets can be harder to enter or exit at a favorable price, which can reduce the value I get from the promotion.
🛡️ Protect your bankroll
My Kalshi bonus is an opportunity to explore prediction markets, not a reason to take bigger risks. I keep position sizes manageable, avoid chasing losses, and never assume a contract is guaranteed to pay out. Even with promotional credit, I treat every trade as a decision that could result in a loss.
Kalshi trading odds and fees
Kalshi does not influence prices, since they are set by the market. Investor consensus bases the price on the likelihood of each contract outcome. Pricing is relatively straightforward, as each market has only two outcomes. For example, a contract for the Washington Commanders to win the 2027 Super Bowl will allow users to trade on the 'Yes' or 'No' outcome.
Supply and demand of the contract will sway prices, and fluctuations are common. Think of actual trading concepts, and you have a basic understanding of the buy/sell dynamics of Kalshi. Essentially, using real money, you will buy outcomes, separating Kalshi from social sportsbooks, and sell your prediction/contract as often as you want to get the best result. The market also sets liquidity.
Kalshi charges transaction fees based on a contract’s expected earnings, rather than applying a flat 1% fee to every trade. The amount can vary by market, contract price, and order type, and some markets may charge maker fees when a resting order is eventually matched. Kalshi displays the estimated fee on the order ticket before you submit a trade, so check that figure to understand the current cost.
Kalshi customer service
Kalshi features a live chat function, but you must make a real-money deposit before you can use it. I was able to connect with an agent within a minute of clicking on the chat icon in the bottom right corner on the screen. Other ways to communicate with Kalshi are via Discord, email, and phone. There is also an in-depth and legitimately helpful FAQ section on the site.
- Live chat: Available following initial deposit
- Email: support@kalshi.com
- Phone: 332-205-9910
- Support language(s): English

Kalshi payment methods
I'm impressed with Kalshi's range of banking options available in October 2026, which lets you choose from a mix of traditional vendors and e-wallets. However, debit card deposits made through Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay may be subject to a 2% processing fee. All withdrawals from Kalshi are processed without additional fees. It's worth noting that the availability of payment options can vary by state and account.

How does Kalshi compare to stock and crypto trading?
The Kalshi platform blends elements of sports wagering and traditional trading, with a unique twist. If you are looking to get started, using a Kalshi promo code is a great way to explore its unique market of event-based contracts. Unlike standard stock or crypto trading, Kalshi users predict the outcomes of real-world events and trade based on the accuracy of those predictions.
In contrast, traditional trading focuses on investing in companies or digital assets, where the classic model grants investors actual ownership or underlying value. Kalshi's event contracts, however, simply settle as soon as the real-world outcome occurs.
Readers comparing Kalshi with a more traditional investing platform can also review our Robinhood promo code guide for its current offer and prediction-market details. For a crypto-first point of comparison, our Crypto.com Sports review covers its event-contract markets, app experience, fees, and platform features.
Kalshi trading limits and liquidity
Kalshi uses trading caps, but they vary by market. If a market has low liquidity, the pricing is less accurate due to widespread predictions. High-liquidity markets, on the other hand, provide better trading outcomes as prices are more stable.

Kalshi responsible trading
Kalshi is enhancing its responsible trading framework with new safeguards to prevent minors from accessing prediction markets and to help users manage risk more transparently.
-
Default Face ID & KYC Controls
Kalshi is expanding minor-prevention safeguards by making Face ID active by default on its app and continuing to use KYC/customer verification to block underage users. The added biometric layer is intended to reduce account misuse when minors attempt to access the platform using a parent’s or sibling’s identification.
-
Selfie Verification & Account Monitoring
The platform is adding selfie checks as an additional layer of protection for higher-risk users, while also allowing account holders to see whether someone else is accessing their prediction-market account. These tools are designed to detect unauthorized use by minors, bad actors, or anyone trading through another person’s account.
-
Inner Circle Accountability Tool
Kalshi is introducing “Inner Circle,” a social accountability feature that allows users to share trading activity with trusted friends or family. This builds on existing responsible trading measures, such as risk limitations and self-exclusion, by adding outside visibility and support.
-
Personalized Deposit Limits & Proof of Funds
Kalshi will recommend deposit limits based on user activity and look for signs of unhealthy trading behavior. When needed, the platform may educate users about available controls, suggest personalized limits, or request proof of funds as an additional safeguard for responsible trading.
-
Market integrity and consumer protections
Kalshi also highlights market integrity as part of its responsible trading approach. As a federally regulated prediction market, it uses market surveillance, identity verification and trading restrictions designed to reduce manipulation and insider activity. Kalshi has also introduced risk scoring for higher-risk markets, employment screening for potential insiders and tools that allow users to report suspicious trading directly from market pages.

The promo code MAX60 pays a guaranteed $60 once you deposit $10 or more and trade $25 on Kalshi's Predictions product, which is $5 more than the standard $55 offer.
The $25 comes from Kalshi's referral programme, not from a promo code. When a friend signs up through your referral link and completes the qualifying trades, you each receive $25 in trading credits. New customers can use either the promo code MAX60 for a guaranteed $60 bonus or a referral link, but not both.
No. Kalshi has no fixed $50 promo code. Its randomised welcome offer pays anywhere from $10 up to $2,000, and the amount is not fixed. MAX60 is the only guaranteed $60 code; the standard guaranteed offer is $55. Deposit $10 or more, trade $25, and the $60 is credited whether your trades win or lose.
