A major news and entertainment company will soon be integrating prediction market platform Kalshi into its broadcasts.

Key Takeaways

  • Fox will feature Kalshi’s probabilities in political, economic, weather, and other coverage.

  • Kalshi receives a major branding enhancement through this deal.

  • Fox News reaches over 200 million people each month.

Fox Corporation and Kalshi announced a partnership Tuesday that will incorporate Kalshi’s probability outcomes on political, economic, weather, and cultural markets into the media giant’s linear and digital content.

"Prediction markets have quickly become an essential data point and a compelling new experience across our live content portfolio," said Paul Cheesbrough, CEO of Tubi Media Group. "By integrating Kalshi's real-time data into our fast-growing streaming platform FOX One and across FOX News Media's leading networks, we're giving audiences both deeper insights and a more engaging way to follow the stories that matter most."

New era

The prediction platform says its markets, which allow users to buy and sell positions on various categories, are indicative of an event’s occurrence.

This will be featured on Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Fox Weather, and the Fox One app. The broadcasting company will use Kalshi’s odds through visualizations to provide more data-driven analysis to its consumers.

“More people are watching Kalshi’s forecasts than trading them, which says a lot: our data effectively complements news and polls,” said Tarek Mansour, co-founder and CEO of Kalshi. “As misinformation grows more common, Kalshi offers accurate, unbiased data to help people better understand what’s going on in the world.”

Building the brand

This Fox deal isn’t Kalshi’s first foray into mainstream media. Kalshi signed a first-of-its-kind deal with CNN and another with CNBC, both in December 2025, to bring its real-time data into the networks’ coverage.

Fox will greatly expand Kalshi’s brand. Fox News has been the most-watched news channel for 24 consecutive years, and the media outlet reaches nearly 200 million people every month.

Legal troubles

Kalshi, founded in 2018, has quickly become one of the leaders among prediction market sites since a 2024 court order allowed the company to begin offering political outcome contracts on the presidential election.

In early 2025, Kalshi became one of the early platforms to offer sports event outcomes on major U.S. and international leagues, like the NFL, NBA, MLB, Premier League, and others.

However, Kalshi has run into numerous legal issues over sports trading that have dominated prediction market news. It is currently involved in lawsuits with nearly a dozen U.S. states. On Monday, the company won a key court battle in New Jersey, just days after a judge continued a ban in Nevada.
