Kalshi has launched two new advertising campaigns featuring sports superstars Pete Sampras and Marshawn Lynch this week.
Kalshi revealed a video narrated by Sampras, a 14-time Grand Slam winner and five-time U.S. Open champion, on Wednesday afternoon.
In it, the tennis legend opines on “the odds, as told by someone who spent a career defying them.”

The video follows Sampras’ journey throughout his career. From winning his first Grand Slam, to dealing with the pressure of being expected to win more.
The ad was revealed just a few days before the men’s and women’s finals at the US Open, for which Kalshi holds the title of official prediction market partner. Current probabilities show that German Alexander Zverev has a 50% chance of winning the tournament, while American Ben Shelton is the top challenger at 37%.
His countryman, Frances Tiafoe, has a 9% likelihood, and Russian Karen Khachanov has a 7% chance.
The Open had already made waves at Kalshi prior to the reveal of the partnership with Sampras. One user won $3.8 million predicting that Shelton, a 25% underdog, would take down the world No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz in a match that didn’t end until after 3:30 a.m.
New users who download Kalshi can sign up with Kalshi promo code COVERS35 for an exclusive $35 bonus in September.

Kalshi poised for more growth
Kalshi teaming up with a pair of household names is representative of its growing audience and market share.
In recent prediction market news, the platform generated $38.7 billion in trading volume during August, a month without the World Cup, NFL, or any major political elections. The platform is also expected to significantly increase that figure once the current month concludes, due to the prevalence of popular sports events – such as the U.S. Open and kick off of the NFL season.
