Kalshi has reportedly landed its first pro athlete partnership.

Key Takeaways

  • Bryson DeChambeau will reportedly be featured in a TV commercial and other promotional materials.

  • The prediction market platform will offer event contracts in tournaments featuring the LIV golfer.

  • Kalshi has three current live markets involving DeChambeau.

The prediction market platform has signed LIV Golf star and two-time Major winner Bryson DeChambeau, according to Front Office Sports. The agreement will reportedly feature DeChambeau in television commercials, social media posts, branded content, and other promotional materials.

Kalshi will also offer prediction markets in events that the pro golfer plays.

“Am I gonna make a birdie on the next hole? Am I gonna win this tournament or that tournament? There’s just so many things you can do with prediction markets,” DeChambeau told Front Office Sports at LIV’s Teams Week in South Florida.”

Financial terms and the length of the contract have not been revealed, and Kalshi is expected to formally announce the partnership on Wednesday. DeChambeau said that he wants Kalshi to partner with LIV.

Major partnership

Kalshi, which began offering sports event contracts on its platform in early 2025 in all 50 U.S. states, has ventured into several partnerships over the last several months. The trading exchange signed a deal with the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks last month, making them the first U.S.-based professional franchise to partner with Kalshi.

The prediction market platform also has a U.S.-only marketing agreement with the NHL and sponsorship with Pro Pickleball and Baller League, a six-on-six soccer federation based in the U.K.

Its latest partnership, though, is one of its biggest. DeChambeau, 32, has become one of the sport’s most popular players in recent years, especially with a burgeoning YouTube channel with over 2.5 million subscribers.

A 14-time pro winner, he had nine PGA Tour titles before joining LIV Golf in June 2022 as a member of the Crushers team. He’s won three times on the Saudi-backed golf league, and DeChambeau holds the 2020 and 2024 U.S. Open titles.

Open markets

Kalshi currently offers three markets involving DeChambeau, including how many course records he breaks on his YouTube channel series. Users can purchase contracts on 2+ courses with 56% on “Yes” or 3+ courses with 43% on “Yes.”

The other live markets are based around LIV golfers DeChambeau, Cam Smith, and Jon Rahm returning to the PGA Tour after Brooks Koepka took a deal with the PGA that is only being offered to those select former Tour players. All three have said they are committed to playing for LIV in 2026, but the market is still open, but DeChambeau’s contact expires at the end of the year.

The final DeChambeau-related market is on which golfer will win a major this year, with only Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy receiving higher percentages than Kalshi’s newest partner. The market includes the Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open, and Open Championship.
