Maple Leafs forward Matthew Knies has 10 goals in just nine career games against Tampa, scoring in four straight meetings, totaling seven in that span. The Leafs have played much better hockey lately, winning three of their last four. In that stretch, Knies is second on the team with a 59.56 xGF% at 5-on-5. He’s also been on the ice for 18 high-danger chances, many of which were created by Knies himself.

Matthews is having a bit of a down season early on, compiling only 11 goals and eight assists. But, he’s still managing to create lots of opportunities, averaging 3.69 SOG per game. Matthews has cashed the Over in shots on target in three of his last four outings

Morgan Frost and the Flames top line have generated shots and goals at very efficient rates during 5-on-5 play. That should continue against the Sabres, who rank dead last in 5-on-5 goals against this season.

Kempe has cashed the Over in points in three of his last four appearances. In his most recent game, Kempe had an assist in a 6-0 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. The Kings are on the road tonight in Utah, and Kempe has played better away from home. He has 14 points in 15 road appearances compared to 10 points in 13 home games. He also posted three points against the Mammoth last season.

Utah's strong start seems like a distant memory, and despite being a strong team at the Delta Center, the Mammoth will fall to one of the NHL's best road teams in the Kings.

There has been a huge dip in Kane’s shot volume recently, with the winger putting up just 12 shots on 48 attempts across his past nine games for 4.74 shots and 18.97 attempts per 60 minutes. Kane posted respective 10.74 and 20.24 per 60 marks through his first 19 games of the campaign, and converting just 25% of his attempts into shots during the highlighted nine-game stretch is unsustainable after posting up a 53% conversion rate to start the year. 

The Detroit Red Wings are in action tonight against the Vancouver Canucks, and Seider heads into this matchup in great form. The defenceman has been lighting it up lately for the Wings, hitting the Over in helpers in three straight games. During that span, Seider has five assists. On the year, the German has tallied 18 helpers to go along with four goals.
