Robinhood trading limits and liquidity

I tested Robinhood’s order ticket on its 2027 Pro Football Championship market by selecting Buffalo to win and previewing two different “Yes” contract quantities without submitting a trade. At 25 contracts, Buffalo showed an 8¢ bid and 9¢ ask, with an estimated cost of $2.75, including $0.50 in commissions and fees, and a potential $25 payout if the contract settled correctly. I then increased the quantity to 1,000 contracts. Robinhood still displayed a 9¢ ask, while the estimated cost increased to $110, including $20 in commissions and fees, with a potential $1,000 payout. I liked that the ticket kept the quoted price, fees, total cost, and potential settlement value visible as I changed the size of the hypothetical order.

The larger preview did not visibly change the 9¢ ask or trigger a warning on the order ticket, but that does not necessarily mean 1,000 contracts would execute at the same price if submitted. Contract prices, bid-ask spreads, fees, available liquidity, and order size can all affect execution. Robinhood may also apply position limits that vary by event, so review the live ticket, current pricing, and contract rules before placing a larger trade.
