My Titans vs. Bengals prediction is the Over 46.5 after the Titans traded All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons to the Bears on Thursday, leaving the Bengals 11.5-point favorites this afternoon.
The Titans' defense was already last in DVOA at FTN before losing its anchor up front, while the Bengals are coming off a 35-13 win over the Ravens. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS at Paycor Stadium.

TOP PICK
Titans vs Bengals prediction: Over 46.5
One of my first plays of Week 8 was taking the Over in this game. And with Jeffery Simmons swapping his trademark red sleeves for Chicago orange in a deal that has the Bears surging up the Super Bowl odds board, I like the Over even more, considering the Cincinnati Bengals will do the heavy lifting.
Simmons was the shining star and identity of the Tennessee Titans defense. His absence up front will drop the Titans even further down the defensive pecking order, which says something when they're already dead last in DVOA at FTN.
The Bengals picked apart a very good Ravens stop unit in the second half of last week's win. They finished with 7.0 yards per play and were a perfect 5 for 5 in the red zone, with Joe Burrow and his talented receiving corps finding their stride.
The Titans' secondary allows the second-highest completion rate and has been burned by multiple big plays, bleeding the fourth-most passes of 20+ yards entering Week 8. While they haven't given up many passing touchdowns, they haven't faced many QBs on Burrow's level.

Titans vs Bengals combo
The Bengals do the lion's share of the scoring, but don't discount the Titans. They're playing with pace and face a Bengals defense that still has work to do. Our Week 8 SGP roundup features a Titans vs. Bengals combo as well.
Chase Brown finds the end zone to the cheers of fantasy owners everywhere. He faces a watered-down Titans defense that's allowed six scores to running backs.
Tee Higgins' projections call for as many as 91 yards against a Titans secondary giving up explosive plays.
Titans vs Bengals combo
- Over 46.5
- Chase Brown anytime touchdown
- Tee Higgins 70+ receiving yards
Titans vs Bengals touchdown scorer: Chase Brown
If anyone was happy to see Simmons traded before Week 8, it was Bengals running back Brown.
He no longer has to worry about one of the premier run stoppers in the game, facing a Titans red-zone defense now missing its biggest cog. Even when Simmons was in the mix, the Titans had allowed six scores to rival RBs.
Brown has only one touchdown in 2026 despite 13 carries and three receptions in the red zone. Due to that drought, we're getting a discount on his anytime touchdown market in Week 8, considering this prop was trading around 60% two games ago.
Given the massive spread, the Bengals will be in a run-positive game script in the second half on Sunday, helping boost Brown's TD probabilities.
His TD forecasts range between 60% and 78%, given he's a threat to run one in or catch a touchdown pass. For other options, browse our Week 8 anytime touchdown picks.
Titans vs Bengals player prop: Tee Higgins 70+ receiving yards
The Bengals have arguably the best one-two punch at receiver in the NFL, with Higgins serving as Robin to Ja'Marr Chase's Batman. Just don't tell Higgins that.
He looked more like Superman in Week 7, putting in a monster effort in the win over the rival Ravens. He caught six of seven balls his way for 148 yards and a touchdown. That includes a 44-yard dinger on a broken play with Burrow dodging pressure.
We mentioned the Titans' problems giving up home runs over the top, and Higgins is one of the best deep threats in the land, averaging 21.6 air yards per reception and amassing eight catches for 20+ yards.
The Titans have also been burned by WR2s to start the season, ranking 24th in DVOA vs. WR2s at FTN while giving up almost 56 yards per game to those second options.
Higgins' Week 8 models are very bullish on his receiving yards, ranging from 65 to a high of 91. Most forecasts come in above 80 yards, and my projection sits just shy of 81 yards receiving.
