My Ravens vs. Bills predictions break down what could be the most fun game on Sunday's slate.
If every game on the NFL Week 8 board was a house decorated for Halloween, this one would be handing out full-size candy bars. Lamar Jackson is back for Baltimore, giving football fans the treat we all wanted: a showdown with Buffalo QB Josh Allen.
Find out why my best NFL picks for this AFC heavyweight bout on Nov. 1 are backing the Bills, and don't miss kickoff from Highmark Stadium at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
TOP PICK
Ravens vs Bills prediction today: Bills moneyline
The return of Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has understandably dragged down the market on the Buffalo Bills. That offers a better ask on the home team's moneyline.
The former MVP comes back from an ankle injury just in time, as this offense was getting stale under backup QB Tyler Huntley. But Jackson isn't 100%, and his mobility will be tested early by the Bills defense, with the 11th-highest pressure rate per dropback. Baltimore's offensive line might not be up to the challenge, with injuries stacking up.
Making plays with his legs has been a huge part of Jackson's success in recent meetings with Buffalo, rushing for 54, 70, and 73 yards in their three most recent matchups.
Buffalo has had two weeks to rest and prep for Jackson and the Ravens, coming off a Week 7 bye. That also allows the Bills to get difference makers back on both sides of the ball, including WR1 D.J. Moore and DE Ed Oliver.
Not only is Buffalo holding the rest edge, but this is its first home game in new Highmark Stadium in nearly a month. The last time the Bills were in front of the Mafia faithful, they were upset by the rival Patriots in Week 4.
A win over Baltimore puts Buffalo back in the driver's seat of the AFC, and there are other Week 8 moneyline picks worth a look.

Ravens vs Bills combo
I'm siding with the Bills to pick up the win at home, leaning on Josh Allen to come through like he always does and for this Buffalo pass rush to make Jackson feel uncomfortable under center.
Allen's nose for the end zone is incredible, and he's scored four total touchdowns in his last two meetings with the Ravens. On top of that, he always uses his legs in the biggest games, averaging more than 43 rushing yards in his last 14 contests with spreads in the four-point range. Our Week 8 expert combo picks have more same-game parlay ideas across the slate.

Ravens vs Bills touchdown scorer: Josh Allen
The Bills quarterback comes to play in the biggest games.
Allen is a one-man offense inside the red zone, and his ability to make plays with his legs or smash his way in on short yardage (AKA "The Snow Plow") makes him a live bet to score a touchdown every week.
He already has eight rushing touchdowns in six games this year and rumbled for 14 last year, including two touchdowns against the Ravens in their Week 1 shootout. He also scored a pair of tuddies on the ground when Buffalo battled Baltimore in the Divisional Round two seasons ago.
Allen's rushing touchdown temperature sees models sitting as high as 93%, with most projections parked at 80% or higher. For more scorer ideas, see our Week 8 anytime touchdown picks.
Ravens vs Bills player prop: Josh Allen 30+ rushing yards
Whenever Josh Allen finds himself in a marquee matchup — be it regular season or playoffs — he’s not afraid to put the entire offense on his back.
Allen did just that two games ago, rushing for 121 yards in a shootout with the L.A. Rams and rumbled for 69 yards in another high-profile bout with Detroit in Week 2.
In fact, it seems any time Allen & Co. are facing a short spread, either as dogs or favorites, he’s breaking off big gains with his legs.
Going back to November 2024, Allen has rushed for at least 30 yards in nine of the previous 14 games with closing spreads of four points or shorter. He’s averaged more than 43 yards rushing in those contests.
His Week 8 projections range from 29 yards to a ceiling of 40.5 yards rushing, with my number at 38.5 gains on the ground and giving plenty of respect to the higher forecasts.
