Eagles vs Commanders AI prediction

The Commanders can win this game by keeping Daniels comfortable without asking a depleted receiving corps to carry the offense. The Eagles failed to record a sack against the Cowboys, and another quiet night from their front would let Daniels extend plays and attack underneath coverage. Jonathan Greenard, Jalyx Hunt, and Nolan Smith are all available, however, giving the Eagles a healthier pass rush. Washington has extra preparation time coming out of its bye, and Daniels is cleared to play despite his left elbow injury. Stefon Diggs is also cleared to play, but Terry McLaurin and Jacory Croskey-Merritt remain on injured reserve. Treylon Burks (foot) and John Bates (shoulder) remain questionable, leaving questions about the receiving depth, but center Nick Allegretti (back) is cleared to play.
McKee gave the Eagles a workable formula against the Cowboys: play-action throws, crossing routes, and a 17-play touchdown drive that kept the defense off the field for more than nine minutes. That approach can keep Eagles +5.5 competitive against a Commanders front missing Javon Kinlaw (knee), Daron Payne (foot), and Jer'Zhan Newton (pectoral), who are all ruled out. Saquon Barkley is cleared to play, with Elijah Mitchell elevated for backfield depth. Barkley's hamstring and back injuries still leave workload risk, and the Eagles must sustain drives without DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, who are both out. Our projected total of 43 supports Over 40.5, but the cushion is modest. Jason Logan's Eagles vs. Commanders prediction also backs Over 40.5. Both teams need to finish drives with touchdowns, and long possessions ending in field goals are the clearest threat to the Over.

How our NFL AI predictions work
Our NFL AI predictions use a custom forecasting model built with GPT-6 Astra to project a final score for each matchup using historical scoring results and team-strength ratings. We review injuries and matchup news for the accompanying analysis.
The score forecasts are fixed before we compare them with the selected Kalshi spread and total to produce our ATS and Over/Under picks. Kalshi percentages are market quotes, separate from the score forecasts. Our touchdown pick is an AI-assisted editorial selection based on player usage and matchup research, not an output of the team-score model. We track results against the original selections and lines at time of publish.
We’ll continue updating the process as the season develops and publicly track every published score prediction, ATS pick, and Over/Under selection.
