The Edmonton Oilers visit the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden tonight.

This marks their first meeting in just over a year, and my Oilers vs. Rangers predictions suggest that Edmonton will continue rolling with their perfect road record.

Read along for our NHL picks for Sunday, Nov. 1.

Oilers vs Rangers prediction: Oilers moneyline

Despite a spotless 6-0-0 record on the road, the 10-2-2 Edmonton Oilers are underdogs.

The New York Rangers are 6-1-0 at home this season, but Connor McDavid & Co. boast a perfect road record and have won five of their last seven overall.

Meanwhile, the Blueshirts have dropped three straight, with Dylan Garand managing a lowly .838 save percentage.

Playable to even money.

 TOP PICK
Oilers vs Rangers player prop: Evan Bouchard 1+ assists

Bouchard is tied for the league lead among defensemen with 16 assists this season.

The 27-year-old has recorded an apple in every road game in 2026-27 and in 10 of his last 11 away games dating back to last season. He set a career high with 74 assists last season, leading all defensemen.

Since the start of last season, no defenseman has cashed his assist prop more frequently than Bouchard.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Evan Bouchard has recorded an assist in 80.8% of road games since January 1, compared to 68.6% at home (playoffs included). He's racked up 66 assists in 61 games over that span.

Oilers vs Rangers goal scorer: Vasily Podkolzin

Vasily Podkolzin has scored in five of six away games this season. He has six goals and nine points away from home compared to just three goals and five points in Edmonton.

While he's certainly benefitted from playing with top-end talent, he appears poised for a massive breakout in 2026-27 and is playing at a 52-goal pace thus far.
