Nobody's scoring like the Celtics right now. Take the Over.

In my Celtics vs. Magic prediction, the Celtics head to Kia Center riding a four-game win streak, but Orlando will look to snap that streak and earn its first win of the season at home on Sunday, Nov. 1.

The Magic's shorthanded offense can still get buckets, and Boston's scoring attack is one of the best in the Association. That's why my NBA picks call for a high-scoring affair.

I'm backing Payton Pritchard to go Over his points line and Jayson Tatum to facilitate at a high level as they lead Boston to a fifth straight victory. I'm also backing Anthony Black to eclipse his combo line as he handles an increased workload.

 TOP PICK
Celtics vs Magic prediction: Over 221.5

I'm projecting a total closer to 230, so I'm happy to trade this line at 221.5 (50%) for strong value.

The Boston Celtics' offense is humming this season, and over the last three games, the C's lead the Association in scoring at 128 ppg.

The Orlando Magic will be without Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs, but their scoring output has remained nearly identical across their last two games with both players out.

The absence of Suggs removes Orlando's best perimeter defender, which should provide more open looks for Boston's 3-point barrage and another high-scoring performance from the visitors.

Boston's defense has allowed 111.3 points across its last three contests, and the Magic still boast capable weapons in Franz Wagner, Desmond Bane, Anthony Black and Tristan da Silva.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Over the last two games with Banchero and Suggs out of action, the Magic's offensive rating has jumped from 109.4 to 114, but its defensive rating has crashed from 117 to 125.3. Orlando can put up points, but it's going to offer little resistance to Boston's high-powered attack.

Celtics vs Magic combo

The C's have been red hot on offense, and the team's defense has been far better than the Magic's. Orlando should be motivated while still searching for its first home win, and Boston could be eyeing Monday's road matchup against the Rockets. For those reasons, I prefer taking the Celtics SU rather than betting them to cover a modest road spread on the first leg of a back-to-back set.

I project Payton Pritchard to score at least 17 points, so I'll trade this line up to 16.5. Pritchard is averaging 16.6 ppg, but his offense has always run hot and cold, as he's mixed two four-point games in with two 28+ point efforts across his last four. Pritchard should clear this line, facing an Orlando team that's allowed 121.5 points and 41.9% shooting from deep across its last two games.

Celtics vs Magic player props

Celtics player prop: Jayson Tatum Over 6.5 assists

Jayson Tatum's assist line sits at 6.5, and I'm happy to take it up to 55%. Boston's offense runs through Tatum, and he sports a 32% usage rate, his highest in four seasons.

Tatum's assist percentage of 36.3% is easily the highest mark of his career, and he's reached 7+ assists in four of five games this season while averaging a career-high 7.8 dimes.

Magic player prop: Anthony Black Over 19.5 points + rebounds + assists

I'm comfortable trading Black's PRA line up to 21.5, where it's set across most other markets, which is why it's a great value on Polymarket at 19.5 (51%).

Black had a muted role in a 30-point loss to the Raptors, but he finished with 25 and 33 PRA in two other competitive appearances. He's averaging 23.3 on the season.

Black has started each of the last two games with both Banchero and Suggs sidelined, and he should run with the first unit again today. Handling a featured role in a high-scoring matchup that should be competitive, Black should clear 20+ PRA.
