The battle to stay out of the NFC East basement is the main event of Sunday’s NFL slate, when the Washington Commanders welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to Northwest Stadium.
A warm couch, leftover Halloween candy, and some fun Commanders vs. Eagles combos sounds like a perfect way to wrap your weekend.

Eagles vs Commanders combo
This divisional dance doesn’t look that exciting on paper, but these offenses offer more than this total suggests. Also, both defenses are dreadful. I see points coming early and often.
The Philadelphia Eagles are once again without their top two receivers, which makes Dallas Goedert a popular option in the pass game. He scored two TDs vs. the Washington Commanders in Week 1.
The Commanders are also missing offensive options, but the rookie WR has found his spot in this playbook. He had an excellent pro debut against Philly, and Antonio Williams' projections flirt with 50 receiving yards on SNF.
Eagles vs Commanders touchdown combo
Outside of TE Goedert, the Eagles have Saquon Barkley back and healthy. He’ll get plenty of touches inside the red zone and is always a threat to break off a home-run score as well.
Washington is the worst RZ defense in the NFL entering Week 8, while Philadelphia's attack scores touchdowns inside the 20-yard line at the third-highest rate.
Jayden Daniels may have to do it all on Sunday night. He showed his wheels with a huge rushing day against New York, and the Eagles have allowed three rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks this season.
Eagles vs Commanders milestone combo
Tanner McKee is getting more comfortable in this offense and faces a bad Commanders defense that has rolled out the red carpet for opponents inside their own 20-yard line.
Williams is working well out of the slot for Washington, a position the Eagles have struggled to contain. The rookie went for 60+ yards vs. Philadelphia in Week 1.
Barkley will get a ton of work against a Washington run stop ranked 31st in opponent success rate per handoff. Saquon went for 80+ rushing yards against the Commies in Week 1.
