My Cardinals vs. Cowboys prediction favors Dallas riding the momentum of its Monday night win, with the Cowboys laying 6.5 points at home against Arizona today.
A short week isn't typically a good thing, but after snapping a two-game skid, Dallas is chomping at the bit to get back on the field, especially with its explosive offense coming back to life.
Here are my best NFL picks for Sunday, Nov. 1, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET from AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
TOP PICK
Cardinals vs Cowboys prediction: Cowboys -6.5
The Dallas Cowboys broke out of a two-game funk in which the offense stalled out on third downs. Against the Eagles, the Cowboys finished 9-for-14 on third/fourth downs and reclaimed their spot among the Top 5 attacks in Week 7.
The Arizona Cardinals defense has been at the mercy of a very tough schedule, and it shows in its ratings (28th in EPA/play). While the offense was able to counter its opponents' scores earlier in the year, Arizona's attack is sputtering with the third-lowest points per play average over the last three contests.
Dallas is more than happy turning this game into a track meet and thrives on the clean indoor surface at AT&T Stadium. Dak Prescott especially enjoys Jerry's World, with his career metrics spiking at home (103.4 rating at home vs. 92.8 on the road).
This is Dallas' first "normal" home game since Week 2 (it played TNF at home in Week 5), and I'm grabbing this Cowboys offense short of the key number of a touchdown.

Cardinals vs Cowboys combo
Arizona was in a similar shootout spot with the Lions a few weeks back and couldn't keep pace with an explosive offense. Dallas does the same here, pulling away with plenty of points in the second half.
CeeDee Lamb is coming off a two-TD day in Week 7 and faces a Cardinals defense allowing the second most touchdowns to rival receivers.
Arizona WR Michael Wilson needs to be more involved, and Mike LaFleur knows it. With Arizona playing from behind, plenty of passes come his way, and projections call for as many as 70 yards on Sunday. Our Week 8 expert combo picks have more same-game parlay ideas across the slate.
Cardinals vs Cowboys combo
- Cowboys -6.5
- CeeDee Lamb anytime touchdown
- Michael Wilson 60+ receiving yards
Cardinals vs Cowboys touchdown scorer: CeeDee Lamb
Lamb looks like the best receiver in the NFL and is coming off a huge performance on Monday, catching two touchdown passes to give him six scores on the season.
He will rip through an Arizona secondary ranked among the worst in the land but also featuring plenty of bodies on the injury report in Week 8.
The Cardinals run one of the highest rates of zone coverage, and Lamb is excellent at spotting seams in that defense. He's not only a downfield threat but also a catch-and-run weapon, exploiting an Arizona stop unit giving up the seventh most yards after the catch.
The Cardinals have allowed 10 touchdowns to WRs (second most), and Lamb's TD forecasts for Week 8 all sit at 60% or higher, with some projections at 80%. For more scorer ideas, see our Week 8 anytime touchdown picks.
Cardinals vs Cowboys player prop: Michael Wilson 60+ receiving yards
Arizona head coach Mike LaFleur was asked about Michael Wilson’s surprising lack of involvement in recent weeks, even with former WR1 Marvin Harrison Jr. traded away.
LaFleur danced around the probing question, telling the media, “At receiver, all you can do is control what you can control.”
Wilson’s targets have tanked in the past three games, drawing 22 collective balls for four catches in each of those outings. He’s put forth receiving efforts of 30, 32, and 55 yards.
He had 13 and 17 targets in the two games prior to that power outage, reeling in 18 receptions for a total of 184 yards.
Sunday’s trip to Dallas is a pass-positive game script for the large road underdog and while QB Jacoby Brissett has fallen off a cliff, he faces a soft Cowboys secondary making all QBs look like Pro Bowlers (opponent passer rating of 105.2).
Brissett is at his best against man coverage and faces a Dallas defense running a higher rate of man-on-man than most secondaries. Wilson rates out as the Cardinals’ top one-on-one receiver.
Most of his Week 8 projections sit north of 60 yards with a ceiling of 70 yards receiving. My forecast comes out to 63+ yards from Wilson, buying back a market that was as high as 80+ just three games ago.
