49ers vs Falcons prediction today: Falcons moneyline
The market has moved significantly toward the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7.
The San Francisco 49ers opened as 4.5-point road favorites following their win over Washington on Monday. Early opinions have trimmed as many as two points off that spread, pushing through the key number of 3.
If you read my Week 7 NFL Underdogs column, you know I grabbed Atlanta +3.5 earlier in the week. With the Falcons now trading at +2.5, I see more worth in their outright price rather than taking less than a field goal (underdogs of +2.5 or shorter are 12-13 SU and ATS this season).
On top of injuries stacking up for the 49ers, specifically at receiver, this venture to Georgia is just San Francisco's second true road game of the season. Those home-friendly results produce a good chunk of the Niners' positive power ratings.
This is also an early wake-up call for the 49ers, who take the field at 10 a.m. PT in Atlanta and do so on a short week, after playing on Monday in Week 6. There is also a looming look-ahead for a banged-up roster, with a bye waiting in Week 8.
The Falcons are being downgraded for a sloppy loss to Chicago last weekend, in which Atlanta had three turnovers and less than 20 minutes of possession. Still, the Falcons were threatening in the fourth quarter.

49ers vs Falcons player prop: Bijan Robinson 25+ receiving yards
The Falcons' path to victory is paved by running back Bijan Robinson.
Robinson isn't just a threat to grind out gains on the ground, but also is a catch-and-run weapon in this offense.
Robinson did finish with negative receiving yards on just two catches in the loss to Chicago last Sunday, which is helping slim his yardage total for Week 7 (had 30.5 O/U in Week 6). The game before, however, he was targeted seven times for four grabs and 32 receiving yards.
Robinson is a workhorse for Atlanta and could see an even bigger snap share with fellow RB Brian Robinson Jr. dealing with a hamstring injury.
Week 7 projections for Robinson's receiving output all sit north of 30 yards, with a ceiling of 39. My number comes out to 33+ receiving yards.

49ers vs Falcons touchdown scorer: George Kittle
Sunday is “National Tight Ends Day” in the NFL. While we’re going to pay a TE tax on this annual appreciation, we can’t deny George Kittle’s role in this 49ers’ offense in Week 7.
Kittle, the unofficial founder of “TE Day”, jumps up the pecking order in terms of targets. With WR1 Mike Evans hurting, Deebo Samuel out, and several other pass catchers on IR, Kittle could be busy.
He has five touchdowns on the season, drawing 10 red-zone targets for eight catches and four TDs inside the 20-yard line. The Falcons have had their hands full versus rival TEs, giving up seventh most targets and receptions to the position, along with four touchdowns to tight ends.
Kittle’s touchdown forecasts are very positive, ranging from 53% to 61%. And for what it’s worth, the Niners TE has struck paydirt in three of the last four “National Tight End Day” celebrations.
