2025 Super Bowl odds analysis

Here’s a look at the spread, moneyline, and Over/Under total and the adjustment to the odds to win Super Bowl LIX.

Chiefs vs Eagles spread analysis

Look-ahead lines before Championship Sunday had the Chiefs as 1.5-point favorites over the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX and, when the smoke settled, that’s where sportsbooks opened the official SBLIX spread.

The early movement has been toward Kansas City, making K.C. a slim -1-point favorite.

Chiefs vs Eagles moneyline analysis

Super Bowl Odds 2025: Chiefs Favored Over Eagles

Kansas City opened between -120 and -130 to win Super Bowl LIX, giving the Chiefs an implied win probability around 55.6%. They now sit at -115 with an implied win probability of 53.5%.

Philadelphia is set as a -105 underdog to win the Big Game, carrying an implied win probability of 51.2%.

There's been a fairly even split when it comes to moneyline bets on both sides with plenty of bettors intrigued by the Eagles at plus money. That's music to the ears of sportsbooks that have a ton of liability on a K.C. victory due to the Chiefs taking a high percentage of Super Bowl futures tickets.

Chiefs vs Eagles Over/Under analysis

The Super Bowl LIX total opened at 48.5 points after the thrilling AFC Championship Game.

As usual, bettors tend to hammer the Over in the Super Bowl, but despite approximately 80% of the bets and handle coming in on the Over, we've seen the total peak at 49.5 and actually come down a bit. Oddsmakers are clearly a bit reluctant to approach the key O/U of 51 with both teams boasting stingy defenses and methodical attacks.

Still, one of the biggest Super Bowl 59 bets, and the first reported six-figure wager, was on the Under 49.5 and placed at Caesars early last week.
