We’re set for a high-scoring bout with the Los Angeles Rams, -3.5 road favorites, over the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of their 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 26.

These two teams are crumbling defensively, so my top Rams vs. Raiders prediction and NFL picks call for the final score to soar over the number in this Sin City showdown.

 TOP Pick
Rams vs Raiders prediction: Over 47.5

Calculators will be needed to keep up with the scoring in this Week 7 tilt between the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders, so I recommend this Over up to 48.5.

The Raiders average 27 points per game with the third-highest dropback success rate, and the Rams have impact starters at every level of their defense.

Los Angeles also ranks seventh in offensive DVOA and can score against a Las Vegas defense in a statistical freefall.

The Raiders rank 30th in defensive DVOA and have allowed the highest EPA per play and success rate over the past four weeks.

Covers COVERS INTEL: The Los Angeles Rams have used the fourth least play-clock time on first and second down the past four weeks, and the Las Vegas Raiders have used the sixth-least time.

Rams vs Raiders combo

Las Vegas has covered the number in each of its three home games and five of six for the season, so pairing the Raiders +3.5 with Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to throw for at least 250 yards is a nice multiplier for this combo.

Stafford will need to air it out to keep pace Sunday, and in addition to the highlighted Las Vegas struggles on defense, the Raiders have dropped to 27th in pass defense DVOA over the past four weeks.

Rams vs Raiders combo

  • Raiders +3.5
  • Over 47.5
  • Matthew Stafford 250+ passing yards

Rams vs Raiders touchdown scorer: Brock Bowers

Las Vegas star Brock Bowers is a tight end by designation only, and he’s found the end zone in six of his past eight games for seven total touchdowns dating back to last season.

Bowers has lined up in the slot on 44.4% of his offensive snaps and out wide 38% of the time, so he’s a matchup nightmare for a Los Angeles defense that’s allowed the second-highest EPA per dropback while ranking 29th in pass defense DVOA the past two weeks.

I’d back Bowers to score up to 46% this week.
