Baltimore has the stronger roster and should cover -3.5, and the expected game script also fits the player props. Jackson can create with his legs against Indy's front seven, and if the Ravens lead, Jones should see enough passing volume to clear 225 yards.

Since I'm not sold on playing either side of this total and the Cincinnati Bengals had one of the worst defenses in the league last season, I'm throwing in a couple of Tampa Bay offensive picks.

I'm leaving a little money on the table, but I prefer using Tennessee's moneyline in my combo than fuss with the points. Plus, I'm adding picks based on my reads of these quarterbacks. Ward will play with his hair on fire and Smith will throw a pick like he usually does.

I’m anticipating Detroit putting too many points on the board for New Orleans to keep pace at Ford Field because the Lions offense ranked eighth in offensive DVOA and seventh in EPA per play in 2025, while the Saints respectively finished 28th and 21st. Goff is also in the perfect matchup to pile up completions because the Saints ranked eighth in run defense DVOA with the second-lowest rushing success rate allowed while also generating pressure at the eighth-highest clip. Finally, St. Brown paced wideouts in red-zone targets and receptions last year while scoring double-digit touchdowns for a third consecutive season, so I like the go-to receiver to find the end zone against a new-look New Orleans secondary.

The Texans have a great defense but this Week 1 game could have more fireworks than most suspect. Josh Allen has plenty to prove with D.J. Moore in the mix and C.J. Stroud is a different passer at home. Kincaid is the best Buffalo TE vs. man coverage and the Texans allowed eight TDs to that position last season. Stroud has a better offensive line in front of him and some added targets, with projections calling for more than 225 passing yards in Week 1.

The Vikings defense goes for the throat against a Green Bay offensive line limping into Week 1. On top of that, the Cheeseheads are down their top running back and the Packers defense is a different animal when Micah Parsons is sidelined. On the other side of the ball, Minnesota’s offense shines on the fast track inside U.S. Bank Stadium. Kyler Murray connects with Justin Jefferson for a touchdown and his ability to play outside the pocket gives Kevin O’Connell’s red-zone playbook a shot in the arm. I like Murray for 2+ touchdown passes in his debut in purple.

Philadelphia is the more talented team on both sides of the ball, and I'm anticipating Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels to have his hands full on the road against a Philly defense that doesn’t need to blitz to generate pressure. Barkley has also run all over the Commanders the past two years with a monster 428 yards and five touchdowns across three games. I expect more of the same from Barkley in a convincing Philadelphia win in Week 1.

This NFC East rivalry has produced plenty of points in recent years (3-1 O/U last four meetings) with the Cowboys doing the heavy lifting. Given we have two brand new defenses debuting and plenty of offensive playmakers, I like the Over 47.5 points. Helping get us past that number is a touchdown from George Pickens, who scored six of his nine TDs versus zone coverage in 2025. He faces a zone-centric schemes on SNF. New York QB Jaxson Dart is always a threat to run and could take off more as he gets used to taking snaps under center.
