An elite TCU defense can keep Friday night’s game with Arizona close and low-scoring, making the Horned Frogs +7.5 and the Under 44.5 the picks to back in Tucson.

My TCU vs. Arizona prediction calls for a rock fight in Tucson tonight, with the Horned Frogs coming off a 22-16 escape against Kansas and heading in as 26% underdogs.

Arizona is a 7.5-point favorite, and Kalshi gives the Wildcats a 74% chance to win outright, but these Week 10 college football picks favor TCU to keep this one within the number and the game to stay Under 44.5.

Kickoff is set for 10:15 p.m. ET tonight, Friday, Nov. 6, on ESPN.

TOP PICK
Who will win TCU vs Arizona: TCU +7.5

With a spread of nearly double digits in some markets and a total in the mid-40s, it's hard to stray from the dog here. It's also tough to back a team that somehow won 22-16 against Kansas last week despite being outgained by nearly 200 yards.

However, Arizona is in a sandwich spot, coming off a loss to Texas Tech with Utah on deck next week. The Wildcats could have their foot off the gas in this ballgame.

The TCU defense should be able to clean up its mess from a week ago and lock in against this very talented Arizona offense. The Horned Frogs rank inside the top 15 in points allowed, red-zone scoring, yards per play, and completion percentage.

Our Week 10 Top 25 predictions take the other side, backing Arizona and the Over, so compare both cases before you bet.

TCU is playable down to 7.5.

TCU vs Arizona Over/Under pick: Under 44.5

There's no way the Horned Frogs keep up with the Wildcats if their defense doesn't hold up.

TCU is nearly allowing as many points as it scores this season. The Horned Frogs rank ninth in points allowed per game, surrendering 15.1, while ranking 126th in points scored, averaging just 17.6.

If their defense can't slow down an Arizona offense averaging nearly 35 points per game, this could get ugly. However, Sonny Dykes should have his team cleaned up and prepared following a sloppy win over Kansas.

Both teams play at a relatively slow pace. Arizona ranks 123rd in seconds per drive across its first three drives, while TCU ranks 56th. Overall, both teams rank in the bottom half nationally in pace.

Playable to 42.5.

TCU vs Arizona combo

This likely won't be the Friday night thriller we're all hoping to sweat out late at a bar, but it should be an all-out rock fight from start to finish. That's why backing the dog at more than a touchdown, paired with the first-half Under and full-game Under, is the move at 4.00x.

TCU vs Arizona combo

  • TCU +7.5
  • First half Under 22.5
  • Under 44.5

TCU vs Arizona prop: First half Under 22.5

With how much the Horned Frogs have struggled to score, I'm backing those struggles to continue while their elite defense keeps the Wildcats in check.

If you like TCU +5.5 in the first half, go for it, but I'd hate to see a sloppy first half from TCU leave them down a touchdown at the break.

Both teams are allowing just 10 points per first half this season. The biggest concern is Arizona's ability to score, but I still expect the first half to stay below 22.5.
