Saturday, Nov. 7

Best BYU vs Utah combo

Utah has been one of the best teams to back this season, covering in seven of eight games, and it's one of just three undefeated teams in the country. The Utes are also catching BYU in the middle of an inconsistent stretch.

The Cougars haven't looked the same since upsetting No. 2 Notre Dame. Their defense couldn't stop a UCF team playing its backup quarterback or an Arizona State team starting a true freshman.

Utah averages 33.8 points per game against Big 12 opponents, and our BYU vs. Utah predictions expect that offense to run wild. The Utes' ground game should wear down BYU's front seven and let them pull away late.

Best Texas vs Missouri combo

Every leg of this combo runs through the same idea. Texas' offense was already the weak link before its top receivers got hurt, and Missouri can win a low-scoring game at home.

The moneyline anchors the combo in our Texas vs. Missouri predictions. If Texas can't move the ball past midfield, Missouri doesn't need a big day from its own offense to win, and both totals stay low. If the Tigers' run game gets stuffed instead, that only strengthens the Under.

Best Texas A&M vs South Carolina combo

Texas A&M doesn't have a high-powered offense, with Pro Football Focus ranking the Aggies 70th nationally entering Week 10. They've been held to fewer than 300 yards of total offense in each of their last two conference games, which shows this team isn't built for shootouts.

That makes the Aggies against the spread paired with the Under a sensible combo in our Texas A&M vs. South Carolina predictions. Texas A&M's best chance of keeping this game close is for its defense to slow South Carolina's offense and keep the scoring down.

Best Oregon vs Ohio State combo

Last weekend's game against USC got away from Ohio State, and the final score made it look more lopsided than it really was. The Buckeyes moved the ball with ease for much of the contest but couldn't finish drives near the goal line.

Back at home for Week 10, they carry the weight of that loss. A more normal game script should show a team with plenty of talent still intact, including Heisman Trophy contender Jeremiah Smith at wide receiver.

Our Oregon vs. Ohio State predictions see this total as having moved too far toward the Under because Ohio State is starting a backup quarterback. The Buckeyes should have success through the air, which would help them win a high-scoring game.

Best Cincinnati vs Houston combo

If Houston comes off its loss to Utah and its bye week motivated, this could be a very long game for Cincinnati. The road underdog has a far inferior defense and faces a very explosive offense, so this total could sail Over with ease.

Our Cincinnati vs. Houston predictions take Houston on the first-half and full-game spreads along with the Over for a 4.62x payout that's well worth the sweat.

Best Alabama vs LSU combo

Slow starts have cost Alabama, which has failed to cover in three straight games as a result. In that stretch, the Crimson Tide trailed Georgia 10-0, Tennessee 9-0 and Texas A&M 14-10.

Another slow start would let LSU's defense pin its ears back. The Tigers rank eighth nationally in pass success rate allowed (36%) and have one of the country's most dangerous pass-rush duos in Princewill Umanmielen and Jordan Ross, who have combined for 58 pressures and 13.5 sacks.

Death Valley is one of the hardest places to play, and with Alabama's offense struggling, our Alabama vs. LSU predictions don't expect the Tide to score much early against this opportunistic LSU defense.

Best Kentucky vs Tennessee combo

Combining the side and the total makes for a 3.47x payout in this game. Kentucky's lone defeat came against Alabama, which repeatedly ran the ball and wore down the Wildcats' defense after halftime.

If Tennessee finds similar success on the ground, the Vols can force Kentucky into obvious passing spots and get after Kenny Minchey with a pass rush ranked second nationally in sack rate, a key point in our Kentucky vs. Tennessee predictions.

Best Michigan State vs Michigan combo

This combo is built around a rivalry game that starts ugly, then either both offenses settle in or the defenses create enough havoc to score or hand their offenses short fields.

A scoreless or 3-3 first quarter keeps the early leg alive, but there's still plenty of room for the game to get into the 40s after that. If Michigan State hangs around and forces Michigan to keep scoring into the fourth quarter, all three angles can hit together. Our Michigan State vs. Michigan predictions follow that script: start slow, finish competitive and let the points come late.

Best Air Force vs Army combo

The key markets here are the Over and Air Force, which make a good base for a combo. A play on the Falcons to also win the first half rounds it out.

There won't be any surprises in this matchup. Both teams will line up and run the ball at each other, and Army has no clear way to stop that approach from Air Force. Without major halftime adjustments or other factors that would make the two halves play out differently, our Air Force vs. Army predictions like the Falcons on the first-half moneyline as well.

Best Miami vs Notre Dame combo

This is the "game of the century" of the week in college football and the No. 1 must-watch matchup in our Week 10 Top 25 predictions, part of the season's most loaded slate.

Miami would certainly be an upset threat to Notre Dame with Toney, but Mario Cristobal's team won't roll over in its biggest game of the season. The Hurricanes ended last season by covering the spread in four straight College Football Playoff games, including three as an underdog.

Cristobal knows how to get his team up, and Notre Dame has had slow starts in three of its last four games, failing to cover in all three as a favorite. Our Miami vs. Notre Dame predictions lean on that.

Best Georgia vs Ole Miss combo

Ole Miss is a feast-or-famine team. The Rebels beat LSU and Missouri but were blown out by Florida and fell behind so quickly against Texas that they couldn't dig out.

That's what happens when a team leans so heavily on a star quarterback to cover for an inconsistent run game and one of the worst defenses in the SEC. Against Georgia, Chambliss won't be Superman, because Kirby Smart's defense has too much NFL talent and has allowed more than 20 points just once this season.

In our Georgia vs. Ole Miss predictions, if Ole Miss falls behind, Georgia's offense can lean on Gunner Stockton to manage the game and take a ball-control approach against a Rebels defense ranked 88th nationally in EPA per rush.

Best Oklahoma vs Florida combo

In our Oklahoma vs. Florida predictions, if Oklahoma's offense stalls, as it typically does, the Gators should control the game from the start and eventually create separation. The Sooners allowed 7.3 yards per play to South Carolina last week, and if their defense is no longer elite, they are in trouble.

Best West Virginia vs Texas Tech combo

The goal here is for the Mountaineers to keep the first quarter close, the Red Raiders to pull away later, and the game to stay Under while it happens.

West Virginia can chew clock early and avoid falling behind too quickly. Once Texas Tech takes control, it can create separation without needing a track meet. That covers all three legs: close early, comfortable late, and a scoreboard that never gets out of hand. Our West Virginia vs. Texas Tech predictions boil it down to hanging around early and getting buried late.
