 TOP PICK
Who will win Texas State vs Oregon State: Texas State +6.5

Playable to 51%.

Texas State is only 4-4 SU in 2026, but the Bobcats have an offense capable of competing against most teams in the country. Last weekend, Brad Jackson threw for 327 yards and four touchdowns on the road against No. 20 Boise State — a game that the Bobcats nearly won outright.

He owns a 17/2 touchdown-to-interception ratio in his last six games, during which he's led Texas State to four wins. The two losses in that span came by two points on the road against San Diego State and by one point on the road against Boise State.

Pro Football Focus has the Bobcats' offense graded 44th in the nation, one spot below Ole Miss. This is not an easy team to put to bed. Expect a competitive game between Texas State and Oregon State in Week 10.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Oregon State starting quarterback Braden Atkinson was only 3-for-11 passing for 26 yards when under pressure against Fresno State last weekend.

Texas State vs Oregon State Over/Under pick: Under 70.5

Playable to 52%. The Bobcats allowed 46 points to Boise State last weekend, but that was only the second time in their last five games in which their opponent managed 30 points.

Even in that performance against Boise State, the potential of the Texas State defense shined through in certain moments — notably, they held the Broncos scoreless during the entire third quarter, permitting only 21 yards of total offense and one first down on four possessions. Pro Football Focus has Texas State's defense graded as the 33rd-best unit in the nation, just below Missouri and Tennessee.

Oregon State's offense has been electric at times in 2026, but turnovers and a lack of success in the red zone have often led to underwhelming point totals. Last weekend, the Beavers scored only 22 points despite having 450 yards of total offense. They settled for three field goals on drives that had promise. They also had three drives end with a turnover on downs, in addition to a pair of fumbles.

If betting the Over on such a high number, there isn't much room for stalled drives and field goals. Bettors need touchdowns, and a lot of them, to have any hope of hitting an Over priced in the 70s — Oregon State's offense probably isn't up to the task against an underrated Texas State defense.

Texas State vs Oregon State combo

Playable to 28%.

Texas State is one of the more underrated teams in the nation. The Bobcats have a quarterback who is playing at a high level, pushing the ball downfield and taking care of the football. The Bobcats' defense has experienced some rough moments, but it has the raw talent to outperform market expectations in any given week.

Texas State's defense should do enough to keep this game close and relatively low-scoring this Saturday.
