Playable to 45%, I'm backing Johnson to have a bounce-back game.
The Steelers have some injury concerns on the back end, and Chris Olave's presence should allow Johnson—who already has run 101 routes from the slot—to get some free releases against a linebacker.
Add in Pittsburgh's strong pass rush, and Johnson and his 5.2 YAC this season becomes a high-ceiling security blanket option for Shough.
I'm backing Shough to toss a pick up to 57%.
The Steelers rank seventh in INT rate on defense and fifth in takeaways per game, and have a pass rush that notched five sacks last week.
Shough's drop-off when pressured is a significant one, and he's ranked third in passing attempts this season. That volume of drop-backs will lead to increased opportunity for this Pittsburgh defense to latch onto a pass.
Murray has logged 225+ passing yards in back-to-back games, and there’s an even higher ceiling here with a healthier supporting cast for this Week 7 battle. Indoor conditions play to Murray’s strengths, and he’s gone past this number in his last eight home outings (excluding the brief start in this year’s season opener) in Arizona and Minnesota.
Target Jefferson for a TD here with Gardner expected to be sidelined for an overmatched Colts secondary. The Vikings’ No.1 receiver already has three scores this season, and Indy gave up a combined six passing touchdowns in road losses to Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers.
Miami has been dreadful offensively, averaging just 14.0 PPG, while its defense is surrendering 2.75 points per drive. With Geno Smith facing little resistance through the air and New York boasting a solid defensive unit, I like the Jets to cover at home.
Burrow's completions prop is playable up to 26+. He's completing a league-high 71.4% of his passes while working shorter underneath, and he averages 25.4 completions across 11 career meetings with Baltimore.
Ward is struggling through a sophomore slump and ranks 27th in the league in PFF quarterback grades. The team got its first win with him getting just 22 attempts, 11 completions and 102 yards. Look for them to run and minimize Ward's impact.
The Bucs' No. 2 run defense may keep Hubbard from getting rushing yards. But with Young under pressure, look for him to get Hubbard involved on dumpoff passes.
We pay the TE tax on "National Tight Ends Day". Kittle jumps up the pecking order in terms of targets with the Niners missing WRs. He has five touchdowns on the season, drawing 10 red-zone targets for eight catches and four TDs inside the 20-yard line. The Falcons have had their hands full versus rival TEs, giving up seventh most targets and receptions to the position, along with four touchdowns to tight ends.
Robinson is a workhorse for Atlanta and could see an even bigger snap share with fellow RB Brian Robinson Jr. dealing with a hamstring injury. Bijan also faces a 49ers defense that allows the second most receiving yards to running backs. Week 7 projections for Robinson’s receiving output all sit north of 30 yards with a ceiling of 39. My number comes out to 33+ receiving yards.
Playable to 51%.
McCarthy played 10 games in 2025, finishing with a negative EPA/play in seven of them. The three games with a positive EPA/play came against the Packers, Cowboys, and Commanders -- defenses that ranked 22nd, 30th, and 31st in EPA/play allowed against the pass, respectively.
The Texans rank 8th in my scheduled-adjusted defensive EPA/play ratings this season and 4th in schedule-adjusted defensive success rate. It's difficult to see the Giants scoring enough points to push this game over the total.
Playable to 65%.
J.J. McCarthy had the second-highest interception-worthy throw rate among 33 qualified quarterbacks in 2025, only ahead of Tua Tagovailoa, who is no longer a starting quarterback in the NFL.
Harvey 25+ receiving yards is worth a look. He leads Denver in receptions, gets schemed easy touches near the line of scrimmage, and has cleared this number in three of five games. Arizona’s linebackers also present a favorable coverage matchup.
The Rams’ Super Bowl dream needs resuscitation, and a Raiders defense ranking 29th in yards allowed per play should help. Vegas can throw punches too, averaging 27 points per game, with four straight outings producing at least 57 combined points. L.A.’s last 10 road games are 9-1 to the Over, where they've dropped an average of 30.7 PPG. Expect the Rams' offense to wake up and hit some home runs vs a defense that ranks 30th in explosive play rate allowed.
I'd would back this touchdown prop to 46%. Bowers is a tight end by designation only, and he’s found the end zone in six of his past eight games for seven total touchdowns dating back to last season. The top Las Vegas target has lined up in the slot on 44.4% of his offensive snaps and out wide 38% of the time, so he’s a matchup nightmare for a Los Angeles defense that’s allowed the second-highest EPA per dropback while ranking 29th in pass defense DVOA the past two weeks.
Philadelphia drags everyone into the mud, with five straight games staying below 44.5 points. The Eagles rank dead last in yards per play, giving even Dallas’ pathetic defense a chance to look respectable. Meanwhile, the Cowboys rank 28th in explosive play rate and have scored just 20, 16 and 13 points in primetime games this season.
I was tempted to take the Eagles on the moneyline, but I'll roll with Dallas Goedert to score a touchdown at 31%, as I price his chances closer to 38%, creating a healthy edge. Goedert saw eight targets with Tanner McKee at quarterback last week against the Carolina Panthers, and he could be in line for another busy outing. With Joey Porter Jr. shadowing DeVonta Smith on the outside for Dallas, McKee may look Goedert's way in the red zone, especially with Smith facing a difficult matchup and Saquon Barkley likely to see a stacked box with McKee under center.
Our experts and prediction models are hard at work analyzing the data. Check back shortly for today's picks, or explore our Computer Picks for inspiration.
For every matchup in an NFL season, our NFL computer produces selections for a variety of different betting angles. Our computer picks are based on a proprietary algorithm that values each team in the current week to produce moneyline, spread, and point total selections.
The table above, below the game picks, tracks our NFL computer's results over the last 100 games, outlining the record and profit for selections, based on $100 unit size. We track the profit based on both opening and closing lines for every matchup.
The easiest way to utilize our computer picks is to simply follow our selections for every matchup, what you'd call ailing the computer." But there are other ways to utilize our NFL computer picks, as well.
You can use our NFL computer as a jumping-off point to do more research into specific lines, cross-referencing with expert picks, which can be found above the selections for some matchups, recent NFL betting trends, and more.
As well, you can gauge the confidence of the matchup. The larger the projected score, the more confident the computer is in a specific pick.
Or, if you want to implement a system, betting only on underdogs, for example, you can look for matchups in which our computer likes the underdog to inform which picks you're going to hone in on for a given week.
We have these computer picks for every sport you're looking to wager on, as well:
NFL moneyline picks are the simplest way to get in on the NFL action. All you have to do is simply bet on which team you think will win the game.
For moneyline picks, the favorite is represented with a minus sign (-) in front of the odds, while the underdog has a plus (+). However, you don't get the same profit for picking an underdog compared to a favorite. If the favored team is -120, a $100 bet on them would pay out $80 in profit and $180 total, if they win the game. The underdog winning at +150 would pay out a $150 profit, $250 total.
We have a complete breakdown of how to read NFL moneyline odds for these NFL computer picks.
While moneyline picks are the simplest, picking NFL games against the spread is probably the most common wager for regular NFL bettors.
To bet an NFL spread, you wager on whether a team will win by a certain number of points or more or if they'll lose by fewer points than the spread. For example, if the spread is -6.5 for the New England Patriots, you would win the bet if they win the game by 7 points or more. Or if a team is +6.5, you're betting on if they'll win outright or lose by fewer than 6.5 points.
There is a correlation between moneyline odds and the spread, as books set these lines based on the same information.
You can read more about NFL spreads here.
If you aren’t entirely sold on which NFL team will win or cover in an NFL game, you can still use our NFL computer picks to bet on the point total.
As opposed to taking a side, in total or Over/Under betting, you wager on whether both NFL teams will combine for a final score of more than (Over) or less than (Under) the total number of points set by oddsmakers.
The computer picks, and your handicapping of totals is more about how you think both teams will score points, not which team has the edge to win.
