The Seattle Seahawks have the fifth-best DVOA (including playoffs) in NFL history since that stat has been tracked to 1978. The New England Patriots aren't on that level and have benefited from playing against the weakest schedule in the league.
The lack of offensive talent around Drake Maye has been exposed in the playoffs with New England averaging just 4.3 yards per play. He'll get pummeled by a Seattle stop unit that led the league in defensive EPA.
Meanwhile, Sam Darnold has looked sharp and is surrounded by weapons in Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and Kenneth Walker III. They'll put up enough points to cover at SB LX.

Darnold is playing the best football of his career and is fresh off a 346-yard performance against the Rams. He should be able to move the ball against a middling New England pass defense that's benefited from poor QB play the last two weeks.
With Pro Bowl corner Christian Gonzalez shadowing Smith-Njigba, expect Cooper Kupp to be heavily targeted by Darnold. The sure-handed veteran had five catches for 60 yards in the Divisional Round before reeling in four of six targets for 36 yards in the NFC Championship Game.

The Pats offense has been stifled by strong defenses in the playoffs, with Drake Maye absorbing five sacks in every game. The same story will play out against an elite Seattle stop unit that generates pressure without blitzing.
The Seahawks could also have issues scoring at their usual rate. New England's stout run defense should contain Kenneth Walker III, while Smith-Njigba will have a tough matchup against Gonzalez. The Under is never a sexy bet, but it looks like the right play for SB LX.
