Game 7. The two most magical words in sports.
The crowd at “Ballhalla” will be rocking on Saturday, Oct. 31, when the Golden State Valkyries host the Atlanta Dream in a winner-take-all showdown.
It’s been a thrilling series of ups and downs, with both teams winning two in a row and each squad capturing a road win. The spread for Game 7 is just 1.5 points, as oddsmakers expect a close game between two teams that have been evenly matched so far.
As good as Golden State is defensively, they can’t boast that level of elite play on the other end of the court, and my Dream vs. Valkyries predictions and WNBA picks favor the team that can finish on both ends of the floor.
TOP PICK
Dream vs Valkyries prediction: Angel Reese Over 12.5 rebounds
In the biggest moment of her career, I’m picking Angel Reese to shine doing what she does best - crash the glass. I’ll trade this prop up to 13.5.
Reese has averaged 13.8 rebounds across 10 career matchups with Golden State. In the Finals, she’s averaging 13 boards, including 14.3 in three tilts at Chase Center.
Reese has shined as a rebounder on the road, averaging 11.1 boards at home and 12.6 across all other locations.
Physicality and a strong interior presence will be needed to beat the Valkyries, as Reese can limit second-chance opportunities for Golden State’s three-point-heavy offense and create those same opportunities for her teammates.

Dream vs Valkyries combo
Good things happen when the Dream’s Big 3 get going at the same time. For the first time in the Finals, Reese, Rhyne Howard, and Allisha Gray all scored 15 points in the same game, and the timing couldn’t have been better.
Facing elimination, Atlanta responded with big performances from all three in an 80-69 Game 6 victory, and the Dream will need similar performances in Game 7 to bring home a title.
Gray has reached that mark in four of nine matchups with the V’s and in 39 of 53 games overall. Howard has scored 15+ in six of 11 career games against Golden State, while Reese has done so in six of 10.
I expect Atlanta to push the tempo in Game 7, forcing the V’s into turnovers to turn defense into offense. With Reese anchoring the offense inside and Howard and Gray knocking down shots on the perimeter, Atlanta’s offense will be too much for Golden State to handle.

Dream vs Valkyries player prop: Gabby Williams Over 17.5 points
Gabby Williams’ points line is set at 17.5 across our featured markets, but I project her to score at least 20, so I’ll trade this line up to 19.5.
Williams is averaging 20.3 ppg across 12 playoff appearances, and she’s scored 20+ six times. That includes two 20-point efforts in the Finals.
Golden State’s leading scorer notched 21 points in the second half of Game 6, getting the V’s back within striking distance after falling behind big in the first half.
She can score in bunches, and the Valkyries' offense runs through Williams. In a decisive Game 7, I expect her to step up and reach the 20-point plateau on the biggest stage.
