Dallas snapped out of its offensive slumber on Monday and doesn't have to wait long to ride that momentum in Week 8. Jason Logan gives his best NFL picks for Cardinals vs. Cowboys on Sunday.

A short week isn’t often graded as a good thing. But after snapping a two-game skid on Monday night, the Dallas Cowboys are chomping at the bit to get back on the field.

Dallas doesn’t have to wait long, hosting the Arizona Cardinals as near-touchdown chalk Sunday afternoon.

My Cardinals vs. Cowboys predictions like Dallas to ride the momentum of that MNF victory, especially the reawakening of this explosive offense.

Here are my best NFL picks for Nov. 1.

 TOP Pick
Cardinals vs Cowboys prediction: Cowboys -6.5

The Dallas Cowboys broke out of a two-game funk in which the offense stalled out on third downs. Against Philadelphia, the Cowboys finished 9-for-14 on third/fourth downs and reclaimed their spot among the Top 5 attacks in Week 7.

The Arizona Cardinals defense has been at the mercy of a very tough schedule, and it shows in its ratings (28th in EPA/play). While the offense was able to counter their opponents’ scores earlier in the year, Arizona’s attack is sputtering with the third-lowest points per play average over the last three contests.

Dallas is more than happy turning this game into a track meet and thrives on the clean indoor surface at AT&T Stadium. Dak Prescott especially enjoys Jerry’s World, with his career metrics spiking at home (103.4 rating at home vs. 92.8 on road).

This is Dallas first “normal” home game since Week 2 (played TNF at home in Week 5), and I’m grabbing this Cowboys offense short of the key number of a touchdown.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Dak Prescott is a Top 3 QB when kept clean at PFF and won’t feel much pressure from the Cardinals' pass rush (11th lowest pressure rate), giving Dak time to rip apart a secondary allowing the sixth most “explosive” passing plays.

Cardinals vs Cowboys combo

Arizona was in a similar shootout spot with Detroit a few weeks back and couldn’t keep pace with an explosive offense. Dallas does the same here, pulling away with plenty of points in the second half.

CeeDee Lamb is coming off a two-TD day in Week 7 and faces a Cardinals defense allowing the second most touchdowns to rival receivers.

Michael Wilson needs to be more involved, and Mike LaFleur knows it. With Arizona playing from behind, plenty of passes come his way, and projections call for as many as 70 yards on Sunday.

Cardinals vs Cowboys combo

  • Cowboys -6.5
  • CeeDee Lamb touchdown
  • Michael Wilson 60+ receiving yards

Cardinals vs Cowboys touchdown scorer: CeeDee Lamb

CeeDee Lamb looks like the best receiver in the NFL and is coming off a huge performance on Monday, catching two touchdown passes to give him six scores on the season.

Lamb will rip through an Arizona secondary ranked among the worst in the land but also featuring plenty of bodies on the injury report in Week 8.

The Cardinals run one of the highest rates of zone coverage, and Lamb is excellent at spotting seams in that defense. He’s not only a downfield threat but also a catch-and-run weapon, exploiting an Arizona stop unit giving up the seventh most yards after the catch.

The Cardinals have allowed 10 touchdowns to WRs (second most), and Lamb’s TD forecasts for Week 8 all sit at 60% or higher, with some projections at 80%.
