Jason Logan’s expert pick: Buccaneers
Price: 78% at Kalshi
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a weird Week 1 result due to a ton of turnovers, but weren’t as bad as they looked on the scoreboard. Tampa Bay brings the heat with an insane blitz rate, and Deshaun Watson is absolutely horrible under pressure, and has injuries on the offensive line. The Bucs don’t have many layups down the road, so I see good value in Tampa in Week 2.
Josh Inglis' survivor pick: Eagles
Price: 76% at Kalshi
There are some warts out there with injuries for the Ravens and Chargers, and I don't want any part of the Australia-return teams. The Philadelphia Eagles offense could have looked better in Week 1, but the Tennessee Titans won't put up points vs. this defense. I don't mind going on the road in Week 2 if it means fading possibly the worst team in football.
Joe Osborne's survivor pick: Eagles
Price: 76% at Kalshi
This is more of a fade of the Titans than anything. They had an absolutely disgraceful Week 1 on their home field, where they were dominated by the JETS in Week 1.
Cam Ward is in contention for the worst starting QB in the league. He'll struggle again against Vic Fangio's defense, while the new-feel Eagles offense should pick up where they left off in Week 1, when they averaged six yards per play.
Geoff Clark’s expert pick: Buccaneers
Price: 78% at Kalshi
This is the best spot to use the Bucs because this is their last "easy" non-division game of the season, and Florida's heat and humidity in September make it a difficult road trip. The Browns couldn't get the Jaguars off the field last week, and the Buccaneers didn't punt in a 33-27 loss to the Bengals. Cleveland probably has the worst QB/coach combo in the NFL, and Tampa is better in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
