Nuggets vs. Pacers

Combo: 10.50x

  • Nuggets -7.5
  • Under 228.5
  • Andrew Nembhard Over 2.5 threes

The Under is appealing tonight. Denver's slower pace can help contain Indiana, which likes to play fast. The Pacers' games have gone Under in six of nine contests, and they continue to struggle without Tyrese Haliburton, especially when it comes to shooting the ball. Neither team is dominating offensively, with the Nuggets ranking 13th in points per game and the Pacers 18th.

I'll round out this combo with Andrew Nembhard. He's an efficient three-point shooter, draining 39.5% of his attempts this season. The guard has taken on a larger offensive role without Haliburton in the lineup, and his shot volume has increased as a result.

He's attempted at least seven threes in four straight games, clearing this total in two of those contests. Denver's perimeter defense has struggled, allowing 4.02 three-point makes per game to opposing point guards.

Knicks vs. Cavaliers

  • Time: 8 p.m. ET
  • TV: MSG, DAZN, NBA TV
  • Analyst: Geoff Clark

Combo: 9.23x

  • Knicks -5.5
  • Landry Shamet Over 9.5 points
  • James Harden Over 2.5 made threes

The biggest concern with pairing a favorite's spread with opposing player props is blowout risk, but I'm comfortable with that here.

New York has a rebounding advantage that should translate into more possessions and second-chance points, particularly if Allen sits. That also gives New York guard Landry Shamet more opportunities to capitalize on his expanded role without needing an unusually efficient shooting night.

On Cleveland's side, James Harden's perimeter volume shouldn't necessarily suffer if New York builds a lead. In fact, a negative game script could force the Cavs to rely more heavily on his outside shooting.

I'm getting three different angles that don't necessarily work against each other. I'm risking 0.25u.

Magic vs. Warriors

Combo: 5.05x

  • Warriors -5.5
  • Warriors -2.5 - 1H
  • Anthony Black Over 14.5 points

The Warriors enter Saturday undefeated against the spread in the last seven games, and Golden State has also covered after each of its last five straight-up wins.

The Magic also checks in surrendering the fourth-most first-half points per game (60.4) while averaging the sixth fewest in that split (54.0). The Warriors rank just outside the top 10 of the league in first-half point prevention at home, conceding 55.2 points per half in that split.

Then, Anthony Black, who's put up 17 points or more in three of his first five games, is facing a Warriors squad that's given up 50.9% shooting, including 38.8% from 3-point range, to shooting guards.

Rockets vs. Suns

  • Time: 9 p.m. ET
  • TV: Arizona’s Family 3TV, Suns Live
  • Analyst: Zak Hanshew

Combo: 6.44x

  • Over 223.5
  • Rockets -6.5
  • Miles Bridges Over 14.5 points

The Rockets are 7-2 SU and ATS this season, while the Suns have covered in just one of seven appearances.

Houston has quality wins over the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks (2x), and San Antonio Spurs early in the season, and unlike the defensively challenged Suns, the Rockets are elite on both ends of the floor.

Houston is 4-0 across its last four in the desert with a +84 point differential.

Miles Bridges posted an eight-point dud in his Suns debut, but he’s been rock-solid since, averaging 19 points across his last six games and scoring 15+ in each. Devin Booker will likely draw the Amen Thompson assignment, which should mean additional looks for secondary scorers like Bridges in Zak Hanshew's Rockets vs. Suns predictions.

Spurs vs. Trail Blazers

  • Time: 10 p.m. ET
  • TV: KUNP 16, BlazerVision
  • Analyst: Chris Walder

Combo: 5.13x

  • Spurs moneyline
  • Under 227
  • Dylan Harper Under 1.5 3-pointers

Logic suggests the team on such a winning streak would ultimately prevail over a competitor that just lost. It also helps to know that the Spurs haven't lost a season series with the Trail Blazers since 2022-23, nor have they fallen in Portland as a favorite in nearly a decade.

San Antonio has gone Over in the total market on just three occasions in nine games. The Trail Blazers have also registered an Under in eight straight outings coming off a loss, dating back to last season.

Dylan Harper has improved his 3-point efficiency from 34.3% to 37.9% year over year. However, the sophomore guard has converted two or more triples in only one-third of his total appearances so far, and not in any of his last three.
