Expert NBA ATS picks: Nov. 7

Nuggets vs Pacers: Nuggets Nuggets -7.5

There's no real home-court advantage here, as tonight's contest takes place in Mexico City, but I'm siding with the Denver Nuggets. They've won two of their last three games, beating the Raptors by 19 and the Suns by seven. The Indiana Pacers have dropped four of their last five games and have struggled mightily to shoot the ball.

Nets vs Hawks: Hawks Hawks -6.5

The Atlanta Hawks are one of my favorite picks on this slate. They've won three straight and have covered this number in two of those games. Atlanta is averaging nearly 10 points more per game than the Brooklyn Nets, who rank 24th in turnovers. The Hawks have a significant edge.

Wizards vs Thunder: Thunder Thunder -11.5

I know this is a massive spread, but the Oklahoma City Thunder are still flourishing, even without several key players. They just beat the surging Grizzlies by 31 points, and Anthony Davis remains out for the Washington Wizards. That absence inside is key, and I believe Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will lead OKC to another convincing win over an inconsistent Wizards defense.

Knicks vs Cavaliers: Cavaliers Cavaliers +4.5

The Cleveland Cavaliers enter this contest after a dominant win over the 76ers, and they're worth a look ATS against the New York Knicks. Cleveland has a much more efficient offense, and its pace could trouble the Knicks tonight. The Cavaliers are also shooting the ball much better than the defending champions. This should be a close game that could go either way.

Magic vs Warriors: Warriors Warriors -6.5

The Orlando Magic have been brutal without Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs, ranking 29th in points per game and 23rd in offensive rating. The Golden State Warriors are averaging 12.3 more points per game, and their fifth-ranked offense could expose Orlando's 25th-ranked defense tonight. The Dubs have won six straight and just beat the Heat by 20 points.

Rockets vs Suns: RocketsRockets -7.5

This spread is warranted. The Houston Rockets are the better team in virtually every category, and their third-ranked offense could expose the Phoenix Suns, who rank 29th in defensive rating. Houston has also covered this number in its last four victories.

Spurs vs Blazers: Spurs Spurs -1.5

I love how the Portland Trail Blazers have been playing, but I have to take the San Antonio Spurs with such a modest spread. Victor Wembanyama gives the Spurs a major advantage inside, and the visitors come in hot, having won five straight. San Antonio has also done a better job of taking care of the ball, which could create extra possessions tonight.
