Aisha Quiñones
Betting Analyst
11+ Years ExperienceHailing from Harlem, New York, Aisha Quiñones joined Covers in 2024 after an illustrious career with several other major media outlets. A proud Johnnie, after graduating from the Big East basketball powerhouse St. John's University, Quiñones earned her bachelor's degree in sport management and journalism, then obtained her master's degree in media studies from The New School.
Over a span of 12+ years, Quiñones has built her portfolio as a writer, dipped her toe into on-camera work, and also been behind the scenes in producing sports content.
Despite being a New Yorker, Quiñones has always been a lifelong Los Angeles Lakers fan thanks to her mom's joy of watching Kobe Bryant play — so much of a fan to the point that Quiñones named her toy poodle after the late-great legend.
Her hometown roots stay true to her MLB and WNBA choice in teams, as a Yankees and Liberty fan, due to her uncle and grandmother's love for the sports throughout her childhood.

Q&A with Aisha
Where does your love of sports come from?
Growing up, my grandmother was a huge Knicks fan while my mom was obsessed with Kobe Bryant. It was constantly NBA & WNBA games on in the Quiñones household where I was taught the ins and outs of the game. As a child in New York City, I was taken to Liberty games when they played at Madison Square Garden and that's where my love for the W began. On the flip side, my uncle has been the biggest Yankees fan I've ever known and he introduced me to the "Core 4" at Yankee Stadium one day and it was a love at first sight. I owe my career to my family because we always bonded over sports.
Did you play sports when you were younger?
I was a terrible athlete. The only sports I happened to be decent at were softball and volleyball, but no coaches or scouts ever asked me to join their team. Unfortunately, my grandmother did not pass her athletic gene down to me.
What’s your best advice for sports bettors?
Have fun with it but be objective when doing so. We all have favorites, but don't let your love for certain teams or players cloud your judgement when placing a bet.

Eric Rosales
Betting Analyst
Eric has been involved in sports media in many different capacities since graduating from journalism school in 1999, back when getting your own column in a newspaper was still considered a thing. He doubled down and graduated from broadcast journalism school five years later, which led to a move to Toronto and a career with The Sports Network (TSN). From behind-the-scenes production work, he moved into the digital realm, where he had his own hoops column (At the Buzzer), while regularly live streaming and chatting with fans during broadcasts as the character known as LeBlog James. He was also a key contributor to TSN and CTVs Olympic programming during the 2012 London Games. Eric eventually found his way into the sports betting field in 2016 and has been a mainstay ever since. He was tagged on Twitter as a Top 10 NBA sharp during the 2021 season and has been interviewed about basketball and his handicapping process on shows from Vancouver to India. Eric is now a jack-of-all-sports at Covers, where his predictions span the alphabet soup: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, F1, WNBA, Euro, and Copa. When making picks, he focuses on finding value first and foremost, and ensuring readers have all the information they need to make an informed choice.
