My Cardinals vs. Seahawks prediction is for the game total to go Over as Seattle welcomes Arizona to Lumen Field for a big divisional matchup between two quarterbacks who were backups just a week ago.
The Seahawks are 9.5-point favorites and 77% on the moneyline, with the Cardinals at 23%. You can tune in on FOX at 4:25 p.m. ET this Sunday, Nov. 8. Don't miss the rest of our NFL picks, though, to stay ahead of the action this weekend.
TOP PICK
Cardinals vs Seahawks prediction: Over 38.5
The Over 38.5 sits at 52%, and while nobody expected a Gardner Minshew vs. Drew Lock battle two weeks ago, it sets us up for a high-scoring game.
Lock threw three touchdown passes in Week 2 when these teams met, finishing with a 139.1 QB rating, as the Seattle Seahawks scored 31 points. With Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet returning last week, their ground game improved, as did their pass protection, which will help Lock.
A week of practice puts Minshew in a strong position after a sensational cameo last week. He added some much-needed juice to this offense, throwing three touchdowns. His 75% completion percentage on passes of 20+ yards was a huge increase from Jacoby Brissett, who had averaged 20.7% across the season.

Cardinals vs Seahawks combo
We don't know exactly how healthy Lock is, given he's been inactive for two weeks, which limits my optimism about backing the Seahawks. The return of their starting running backs is big, but the blocking hasn't helped, and the team ranks 29th overall in EPA/rush.
Conversely, the Arizona Cardinals' ground game is in rude health, ranking 10th in EPA/rush. The Cardinals' defense is also improving, allowing 5.02 yards per play across the past two games, a drop of more than one yard from the 6.18 it allowed in Weeks 1-5.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba remains the Seahawks' main threat and is QB-proof. He's scored nine times this season, four of them with Lock at QB, and has the sixth-most red-zone targets of any WR.
Cardinals vs Seahawks combo
- Cardinals +9.5
- Over 38.5
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba anytime touchdown
Cardinals vs Seahawks touchdown scorer: Trey McBride
The Seahawks have allowed only two touchdowns to tight ends, but Trey McBride isn't a normal TE, and this is a good spot for him. He has five touchdowns this season, including one against the Seahawks in Week 2, and has found the end zone in each of his past two games.
He also leads the entire NFL in red-zone targets with 19 and has 10 targets inside the 10-yard line. The QB change shouldn't impact him much either, given that Minshew targeted him eight times on 23 passing attempts. I'd play this up to 35%.
