Buy to 53.5%. Bought at 51%. Kyle Shanahan has already said George Kittle (Achilles) will have a monitored workload Thursday, as he just came off the PUP list two weeks ago. That could push him into more of a red-zone and third-down role rather than a full-time workload. Jake Tonges could potentially play more snaps than Kittle, and it's interesting that the backup tight end doesn't have a reception market yet, but that could change closer to kickoff. There are also a lot of other bodies in this offense that need looks, and if San Francisco is playing with the lead, Kittle could be doing more watching than playing.

The ability to grab the Rams at -3.5 (52%) at Kalshi is a win compared to what we're seeing elsewhere, where the Rams are trading closer to 54% at -3.5 or the line has already moved to -4. I make the Rams closer to a 5-point favorite in this spot, so there is definitely an edge to exploit at -3.5 (52%) at Kalshi. It's also easy to see why the market is moving toward Rams -4. Aaron Donald won't be making the trip, but I think the Rams' other offseason acquisitions, Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie, could play a huge role. Garrett, along with Poona Ford, should be able to generate pressure up the middle, while McDuffie has the ability to completely suffocate Mike Evans on the perimeter.

The gap between Colston Loveland's TD market implied probability (32%) and his actual chance of scoring (fair around 40%) is a big Week 1 advantage for early bettors. Loveland averaged 66 yards per game after Week 8 last season while adding touchdowns in five of those games (six total). Wide receiver Rome Odunze (leg) suffered his injury last Thursday and didn't practice Tuesday, while Luther Burden has been out for about a month with a groin injury and is working his way back to practice this week. It's the perfect spot at the wrong price for Caleb Williams' favorite target over the second half of last season. Williams finished last year with the third-highest deep-throw rate, and Loveland, who doesn't drop balls and played 40% of his snaps in the slot or out wide, could take full advantage as the healthiest pass catcher on the roster.

Lamar Jackson faces a blast from AFC North past when he and the Ravens take on the Colts and DC Lou Anarumo in Week 1. During his tenue with Cincinnati, Anarumo couldn’t slow down Jackson consistently and the Ravens QB chewed up his blitz-heavy schemes. Jackson recorded several multi-TD passing games versus those Bengals teams and constantly ranks out among the best QBs vs. blitz in the NFL. New Baltimore OC Declan Doyle got to work against two blitz-centric foes in joint practices this summer – Washington and Minnesota – ironing out the wrinkles against similar pressure before this Week 1 outing. I like Lamar to make Indy pay with two or more passing TDs.

In this game, Mark Andrews is predicted by the model to rank in the 89th percentile among tight ends with 5.8 targets.. Mark Andrews has totaled a colossal 31.0 air yards per game last year: 82nd percentile among tight ends.. The projections expect this game to see the 4th-highest number of plays run on the slate this week at 130.2 plays, based on the play styles of each team and game dynamics.. This week, Pat Freiermuth is expected by the predictive model to position himself in the 79th percentile when it comes to tight ends with 4.3 targets.. Pat Freiermuth has received a monstrous 10.8% of his team's air yards last year: 83rd percentile when it comes to TEs.. The Falcons pass defense has been vulnerable when opposing tight ends have gotten into space, conceding an average of 0.00 yards-after-the-catch last year: the most in the NFL.

Bought at x3.7. Fair at x3.15. The Jaguars are trying to get Brian Thomas going after the disaster that was last season, and those moves might revive the burner. Thomas was useless over the middle under first-year offensive coach Liam Coen who is pushing him to the “X” receiver and using him more like the vertical threat he was in his rookie year. Travis Hunter is still not a major threat so last year’s setup with Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington will still be the norm for Thomas who has had a leadup to the season. Cleveland is obviously without Mykles Garrett, but this is still a great defense, however, it’s not a bad one to attack early as it will be learning a new scheme under first-year DC Mike Rutenberg who replaces Jim Schwartz after he bailed on the organization after not getting the HC job. If he looks good in Week 1, bettors will never see a payout like this all season.

The Cleveland Browns enter the year with massive questions on offense, with PFF rating them dead last in its offensive power rankings, though they remain solid on defense. With two solid defenses and Cleveland's atrocious offense, this promises to be one of the lowest-scoring games of Week 1. I like the Under at totals down to 38.5 points.

The matchup I’m most interested in is Todd Bowles’ pass rush versus the Cincinnati offensive line. The Bengals’ protection showed positives in the second half of 2025 but those followed seasons of horrible protection. By that shitty standard, any improvements were notable. Many preseason ratings list this o-line among the bottom 10. Tampa Bay’s stop unit is going to bring the heat – or it’ll die trying. That was the problem last year. Bowles blitzed at the fourth highest rate and all it got him was the eight lowest pressure rate, leaving foes to pick apart the Bucs like a charcuterie board at HOA meeting. I like Bowles’ pass rush to get its claws back against a Cincinnati side that’s been a darling of the offseason. That public appeal has a half-point hook bubbling up on the field goal, which I’ll gladly take with Tampa Bay +3.5.

Are you telling me I can get a potential 20-touch running back facing the Bengals at better than 50% to score a touchdown on Sunday? Sean Tucker has already been labeled a game-time decision by head coach Todd Bowles, which leaves Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell atop a Tampa backfield that lost Rachaad White. Injuries have hurt Irving in the past, but he's good to go in a game carrying a Week 1-high 51.5-point total. There are changes on the Bengals' defense, but this was the worst tackling team in football a year ago. Cincinnati allowed the most yards after catch per reception and 162 total yards per game to opposing running backs. This could be one of the longest probabilities we see all year for an RB1 to score against the Bengals.

The Titans defense is a work in progress and Saleh’s trying the plug the gaps with familiar faces, including five former members of Gang Green. New York also have caught a break with Tennessee’s top tackler LB Cedric Gray crashing his UTV and suffering a concussion. There’s plenty of tape on Saleh’s schemes lying around East Rutherford, which helps new offensive coordinator Frank Reich ready his gameplan. New York has promising players at the skill positions and an offensive line looking to build on a better second half of 2025. New York opened +3 back in the spring and offseason action has trimmed this down to +1.5. It would seem Robert Saleh isn’t the only one who believes in the Jets offense.

Here is another long shot that has my attention because of the possible heavy sets the Lions might run this year under new OC Drew Petzing. While in Arizona, he ran 2-TE sets at the sixth-highest rate in the league, and 3-TE sets at the highest rate. That playbook alone should get Brock Wright, who was already playing 35+ snaps last season, on the field more. Over the last two seasons, 15 of 33 passes inside the 5-yard line for Petzing's Cardinals went to a tight end. Ty Conklin is behind him on the depth chart, but he also just signed on September 1. The real bread and butter is the health of Sam LaPorta, who is dealing with a hip injury. He missed every preseason game and could be on a snap count early in the season after missing the second half of last year. Keep an eye on LaPorta's practice reps today, because Wright is lying in the weeds with a TE-heavy offense at a huge price. Just a half-unit here.

While they should be able to do a lot of the heavy lifting to push this game Over 48.5, don't sleep on the Saints offense who made some major upgrades this offseason. Kellen Moore has been the arcitect of some great offenses on his way to becoming head coach of New Orleans. Expect his strengths to be on full display with a talented group of playmakers at his disposal.

The Texans were active in the offseason, bolstering their dog poo O-line and adding a steady rushing threat in David Montgomery. QB C.J. Stroud got the vote of confidence at QB (for at least one more year) and should improve given the better talent around him. For Buffalo, Josh Allen gets a true No. 1 receiver in D.J. Moore, who could show out in his Buffalo debut, as his career numbers spike when he plays indoors (I’ll be sniffing around his Week 1 props as well).

A rushing game script is suggested by the Bills being a 5.25-point favorite in this game.. The leading projections forecast the Buffalo Bills to be the 9th-most run-centric team on the slate this week with a 44.0% run rate, given their underlying traits and matchup dynamics.. Given their underlying strategic approach and game dynamics, the Bills are expected by the projection model to run 66.2 offensive plays in this game: the 2nd-highest number among all teams this week.. Murray has a good idea of the defense he’ll face in Week 1. He played it every day in practice for the past three years. Former Arizona coach Jonathan Gannon is the new defensive coordinator in Green Bay. On top of being able to find Jefferson and Jordan Addison for deep TD connections, Murray’s ability to make plays outside the pocket gives O’Connell a new twist inside the 20-yard line. He has excellent jump ball options in burly WR Jauan Jennings and TE T.J. Hockenson. Projections tick as high as 1.6 TD passes and isn’t here just to hand the ball off. I’d play his 2+ touchdowns as high as 48%.

Let’s not get fancy here. I’ll trade Justin Jefferson to find the end zone up to 40% in Week 1. His current TD market is tempered due to the mystery around new QB Kyler Murray and just two touchdown strikes in 2025. Despite poor passing, J.J. still ranked 10th versus zone coverage in 2025 at PFF and will face those schemes from new Packers DC Jonathan Gannon. Murray’s mobility and arm strength is excellent against zone and he’ll look to get Jefferson going early. Projections for Jefferson give between a 40% and 50% chance of “griddy” on Sunday.

I bought this at 10.5x with a fair price of 7.5x. This one is all about the price, as 9.5% or 10.5x is simply far too much for a starting wide receiver on any team, let alone one facing the Dolphins. Jack Bech secured the No. 3 receiver spot behind Tre Tucker and Jalen Nailor. He's projected for just a couple of catches and 23 yards, but this is the price of a WR5, a player likely to see 10-15 snaps, not someone who is likely to see 30+ like Tyler Lockett did a season ago. This is a long shot for a reason, but one that should be priced closer to 6.5x. If you want more action in this game, keep an eye on the Raiders' tight end usage, as Klint Kubiak used 12 personnel at the fifth-highest rate last year. Michael Mayer (7x for a TD) could see a bigger role.

The passing offenses of both teams (in terms of both volume and efficiency) ought to benefit from the calm "weather" conditions (as in zero wind) inside this dome, while run volume may suffer.. With a fantastic 86.6% Adjusted Completion% (99th percentile) last year, Malik Willis stands as one of the most on-target passers in the league.. Opposing QBs have completed passes at the 6th-highest clip in football vs. the Las Vegas Raiders defense last year (73.2% Adjusted Completion%).. Last year, the weak Las Vegas Raiders defense has given up the most yards-after-the-catch in the NFL to the opposing side: a massive 0.00 YAC.

This is the highest-rated touchdown at this probability, according to Covers' new Anytime Touchdown Value Index. Just another tool to help you sort through the noise, get to your pick a lot quicker, and give you back your time. There isn't a category across the many inputs where Dallas Goedert isn't showing value. I know matching last year's 11 TDs will be tough, but the matchup, scoring environment, red-zone role, role certainty, and relative price are all pointing to a buy in Week 1. He scores an 80 on the CATVI. It could be a better passing offense, with more looks under center for Jalen Hurts, while the loss of A.J. Brown opens up more targets for the tight end.

I’m anticipating Diggs serving as a security blanket for quarterback Jayden Daniels early and often in the season opener, and with Washington a healthy underdog, the Commanders won’t have the luxury of abandoning the passing attack. Diggs was also sneaky good last season and finished 14th in PFF receiving grade while pacing the league in reception percentage among wideouts with at least 50 targets.

Give me the Cowboys in the first Sunday Night Football matchup of the season. They're trading as 2.5-point favorites, and I make them closer to 4-point favorites in this matchup. I think Dallas wins this game with Quinnen Williams and the interior of its defensive line. Jon Runyan is overmatched against Williams, while rookie Francis Mauigoa is starting at right guard. There are schematic changes you can make to slow down an edge rusher, but if the pocket keeps collapsing on Jaxson Dart up the middle, it's going to force him to abandon his reads and could also disrupt the Giants' running game with Cam Skattebo.

With the Giants in transition mode under new head coach John Harbaugh, I’m happy to take the Cowboys below the key number of 3. The Dallas offense has oodles of continuity after averaging 27.7 points per game last season, and the offseason commitment to bringing in talent on the defensive side of the ball will provide an upgrade to a stop unit that allowed the third-most yards and most points per game.  I also anticipate this game closing with Dallas as at least a -3 favorite ahead of Sunday Night Football.

Expect the Broncos to test Mahomes’ mobility with their vaunted pass rush. Denver is a Top 5 stop unit, anchored in pressure. The last thing defensive coordinator Vance Joseph wants is to allow Mahomes to get comfortable in his return. An ailing offensive line could compound things for Kansas City. Guard Trey Smith has been limited by a hip injury all summer and admitted he’s not 100% heading into the opener. On the other side of the line, tackle Josh Simmons could sit Week 1 due to a back injury. Sprinkle in the possibility of slick field conditions, with thunderstorms around Arrowhead on Monday, and Denver will dampen Mahomes’ miraculous return to action.

I bought this at 3x with a fair price of 2.7x. I want this new deep connection to work, and if the talk out of camp is true, this is going to be a great price. Bo Nix knows how to avoid sacks, and Waddle's 13.06 aDOT last year would have led the Broncos. Nix just needs to improve his deep ball, which ranked in the bottom third of the league last year. He still managed to throw for nearly 4,000 yards, and hopefully new playcaller Davis Webb can get more out of his QB. Meanwhile, the Chiefs lost three of their four leading snap-getters in the secondary, including CB Trent McDuffie, S Bryan Cook and CB Jaylen Watson. There's plenty of uncertainty in this new secondary, and the early part of the season is likely the best time to fade it before DC Steve Spagnuolo works his magic.

For every matchup in an NFL season, our NFL computer produces selections for a variety of different betting angles. Our computer picks are based on a proprietary algorithm that values each team in the current week to produce moneyline, spread, and point total selections.

The table above, below the game picks, tracks our NFL computer's results over the last 100 games, outlining the record and profit for selections, based on $100 unit size. We track the profit based on both opening and closing lines for every matchup.

How to Use NFL Computer Picks

The easiest way to utilize our computer picks is to simply follow our selections for every matchup, what you'd call ailing the computer." But there are other ways to utilize our NFL computer picks, as well.

You can use our NFL computer as a jumping-off point to do more research into specific lines, cross-referencing with expert picks, which can be found above the selections for some matchups, recent NFL betting trends, and more.

As well, you can gauge the confidence of the matchup. The larger the projected score, the more confident the computer is in a specific pick.

Or, if you want to implement a system, betting only on underdogs, for example, you can look for matchups in which our computer likes the underdog to inform which picks you're going to hone in on for a given week.

We have these computer picks for every sport you're looking to wager on, as well:

Moneyline

NFL moneyline picks are the simplest way to get in on the NFL action. All you have to do is simply bet on which team you think will win the game.

For moneyline picks, the favorite is represented with a minus sign (-) in front of the odds, while the underdog has a plus (+). However, you don't get the same profit for picking an underdog compared to a favorite. If the favored team is -120, a $100 bet on them would pay out $80 in profit and $180 total, if they win the game. The underdog winning at +150 would pay out a $150 profit, $250 total.

We have a complete breakdown of how to read NFL moneyline odds for these NFL computer picks.

Spread

While moneyline picks are the simplest, picking NFL games against the spread is probably the most common wager for regular NFL bettors.

To bet an NFL spread, you wager on whether a team will win by a certain number of points or more or if they'll lose by fewer points than the spread. For example, if the spread is -6.5 for the New England Patriots, you would win the bet if they win the game by 7 points or more. Or if a team is +6.5, you're betting on if they'll win outright or lose by fewer than 6.5 points.

There is a correlation between moneyline odds and the spread, as books set these lines based on the same information.

You can read more about NFL spreads here.

Totals (Over/Under)

If you aren’t entirely sold on which NFL team will win or cover in an NFL game, you can still use our NFL computer picks to bet on the point total.

As opposed to taking a side, in total or Over/Under betting, you wager on whether both NFL teams will combine for a final score of more than (Over) or less than (Under) the total number of points set by oddsmakers.

The computer picks, and your handicapping of totals is more about how you think both teams will score points, not which team has the edge to win.
