Bucks vs. 76ers combo: 6.15x

Analyst: Chris Walder

  • 76ers moneyline
  • Over 234.5
  • Tyler Herro Over 2.5 3-pointers

Enough leeway was given in riding the Bucks to cover, but going beyond that to project an outright victory is suspending belief too much. A shocking upset would be due to Philly playing with its venison dinner, and nothing more.

Nothing screams an Over in the totals market more than having a team that loves to score and can't defend, with Milwaukee a perfect 2-0 thus far.

Only two other players — Brandon Miller and Anthony Edwards - have attempted more 3-pointers than Herro (21) through two outings. All he'll need is three on Saturday, which feels safe considering he's averaging 4.5 on 10 tries.

Spurs vs. Mavericks combo: 7.14x

Analyst: Zak Hanshew

  • Spurs -12.5
  • De’Aaron Fox Over 5.5 assists
  • Victor Wembanyama Over 11.5 rebounds

The Spurs opened the season with a three-guard lineup, featuring Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle sharing the court with De'Aaron Fox. Harper’s and Castle’s ascendance as scorers has caused Fox to focus on facilitation rather than scoring.

His 10 FGA mark a career low, while his eight assists mark a career high. Fox has dished 6+ in each of the first two games of the season, and he did so in 40 of 72 games in 2025-26.

Victor Wembanyama has corralled 13 rebounds in each of the first two games of the season, and he’ll face little competition for boards against the Mavericks tonight.

Daniel Gafford will likely play only 20-22 minutes, and the Mavericks’ already-depleted frontcourt will miss key rebounder and defender Flagg.

Rockets vs. Hawks combo: 7.07x

Analyst: Ed Scimia

  • Rockets moneyline
  • Under 227.5
  • Alperen Sengun Over 19.5 points

Houston played at the NBA's second-slowest pace last season and still ranks among the league's slower teams early in the new campaign. The Rockets have allowed only 110.0 ppg so far this year, and combined with Atlanta's outstanding defensive start, I love the Under tonight.

I'm also taking Sengun to score at least 20 points tonight. Sengun has scored at least 23 points in his first two games and has been dominant in the paint while stretching the floor with multiple threes per night.

He'll cause Atlanta enough trouble to get to his 20+ point target tonight.

Pelicans vs. Nuggets combo: 9.48x

Analyst: Shawn Krest

  • Nuggets -11.5
  • Under 239.5
  • Nuggets 1H -6.5

Denver sharpshooter Cam Johnson left the opener with an ankle injury. He wasn’t expected to miss much time, but if he’s slowed by the balky ankle, it will hurt the Nuggets’ outside shooting. Spencer Jones, who missed the opener with a bad hamstring, is also out.

While the Nuggets’ offense may bounce back, it will still feel the effects of the early injuries. Denver also seems to be playing at a slower pace, which will keep the points total down.

New Orleans also had injury woes, with bright spot Yves Missi leaving Friday’s game after hurting his knee. That will weaken an inside game that, outside of Zion Williamson, was a weak spot last year.

Warriors vs. Suns combo: 10.73x

Analyst: Geoff Clark

  • Suns -9.5
  • Yaxel Lendeborg Over 7.5 rebounds
  • Over 221.5

Phoenix -9.5 was almost my Top Pick, until I ran into the Warriors forward Yaxel Lendeborg 8+ rebounds, which I break down below.

I'm throwing the Under 221.5 into my combo because, as I always say: Blowouts are where Overs go to die. Typically, the winning team takes its foot off the gas in the second half, and the losing team is just trying to get out of there.

Plus, the Suns played at the third-slowest pace in the NBA in their only game this season, which was a blowout. The Warriors are 26th in pace through their first two games. Last season, Golden State was 19th in pace and Phoenix was 24th, so Friday's meeting is likely to be slow, too.
