Opening NFL Week 13 Odds and Betting Lines: Ride 'Em Underdog Cowboys

The Cowboys stormed back to beat the Eagles in Week 12 and opened as 3.5-point underdogs against the Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day.

We've got a full slate of games in NFL Week 13, starting with a Thanksgiving Day triple-header and a special Black Friday battle.

The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions (-3) get things started on Thursday afternoon before giving way to the Kansas City Chiefs, who are clinging to life, at the Dallas Cowboys (+3.5).

Thursday Night Football features an AFC North rivalry bout between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens. Could Joe Burrow be active?

The Chicago Bears will yet again have a chance to outplay expectations, but it'll come with the steep task of topping the Philadelphia Eagles (-7) at the Linc.

Packers vs Lions odds (Thursday, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX)

Opening line

This NFC North battle opened with Detroit as a field goal favorite for its annual Thanksgiving home game, with the line slightly padded toward the Packers.

The vig has started to balance out in the opening 12 hours of action. The health of Green Bay RB Josh Jacobs will influence this spread before Thursday. The total hit the board at 49.5 points after the look-ahead line sat at 48.5 O/U before the results of Week 12.

Chiefs vs Cowboys odds (Thursday, 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS)

Opening line

The Cowboys are coming off a wild comeback win over the Eagles in Week 12 and have a short turnaround to brace for the Chiefs, who completed a comeback of their own with a win over the Colts on Sunday. Dallas was a 4-point home pup on the look-ahead line but after Week 12, this spread opened Cowboys +3.5 (-115). The total hit the board at 52.5 points and has since slimmed to 51.5 O/U.

Bengals vs Ravens odds (Thursday, 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC)

Opening line

All eyes are on Bengals QB Joe Burrow, who was back at practice in Week 12 and is expected to return to action for this Thanksgiving run-in with the Ravens. Books opened Cincinnati as a 7.5-point road underdog after the look-ahead line was as big as +11.5 last week. The total has also been adjusted, with the look-ahead number at 49.5 and jumping to an official opener of 52.5 before coming down to 51.5 points.

Bears vs Eagles odds (Friday, 3:00 p.m. ET, Prime Video)

Opening line

Black Friday sees a standalone game between the Bears and Eagles at 3 p.m. ET. Philadelphia blew a 21-0 lead in Dallas on Sunday and opened as a touchdown favorite after that collapse. The total opened 42.5 and has jumped to 43.5 with early action on the Over.

Jaguars vs Titans odds (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS)

Opening line

Jacksonville stays on the road for a second straight week and watched its opening spread of -7 dip to -6.5 against the Titans in Week 13. Tennessee has shown some fight in back-to-back games, most recently putting a scare in Seattle on Sunday. This Over/Under opened at 42.5 and has dropped to 41.5 O/U in the first 12 hours of action.

Falcons vs Jets odds (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX)

Opening line

The Falcons picked up a win at New Orleans despite missing QB1 Michael Penix Jr. and star WR Drake London. Atlanta opened as a 2.5-point favorite at New York in Week 13 while the total hit the board at 39.5 points. The Jets offense looked livelier with Tyrod Taylor under center on Sunday.

Opening line

Look-ahead lines were Rams -9.5 but after Los Angeles’ one-sided win on SNF and the Panthers loss to San Francisco on MNF, the official opener came out at L.A. -10.5. The total hit the board at 45.5 points.

Saints vs Dolphins odds (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX)

Opening line

Miami is coming off the bye and opened as a 5.5-point home chalk to New Orleans, which could be without RB Alvin Kamara in Week 13. Some books have already moved to Dolphins -6. The Over/Under opened at 42.5 points.

Cardinals vs Buccaneers odds (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX)

Opening line

Tampa Bay could be without starting QB Baker Mayfield after he injured his shoulder in Sunday night’s loss in Los Angeles. The opening odds reflect that loss under center, with the Bucs going from 5.5-point home favorites versus Arizona to -2.5.

The total also moved, officially opening at 45.5 after a look-ahead number of 48.5 prior to Sunday’s events. Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. is still questionable after recovery from an appendectomy.

Opening line

San Francisco picked up a win over Carolina on Monday and opened as a 6.5-point road chalk at Cleveland in Week 13, but the spread is padded toward Browns +6.5 with many other books down to six points. The total opened at 40.5 and dropped to 39.5 with early action on the Under. Snow, rain and 30 mph gust are in the forecast for Cleveland on Sunday.

Texans vs Colts odds (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS)

Opening line

Indianapolis has to recover from a collapse at Kansas City in time for this important AFC South showdown with Houston. The Texans are coming off a mini bye after beating Buffalo last Thursday and could have QB C.J. Stroud back from a concussion. The Colts opened as 3.5-point home favorites while the total opened at 46.5 and has since slimmed to 44.5 points.

Vikings vs Seahawks odds (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET, FOX)

Opening line

The Vikings travel for the second straight week, heading to Seattle in Week 13. The Seahawks opened as 8.5-point favorites and have climbed to -9.5 with early play on the home side. This total hit the board at 43.5 points and slimmed to 42.5 O/U.

Bills vs Steelers odds (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS)

Opening line

Buffalo has had to wait a while to bounce back from a loss last Thursday and travels to Pittsburgh as a 4.5-point road favorite in Week 13. The Steelers are unsure of their starting QB situation with Aaron Rodgers nursing a fractured left wrist, which held him out of Week 12. This total opened at 47.5 points.

Opening line

Las Vegas fired offensive coordinator Chip Kelly in the wake of an ugly home loss to Cleveland in Week 12 and opened as a 9.5-point road underdog against the Chargers, who are coming off a much-needed bye week. This total hit the board at 42.5 and is now down to 41.5 O/U.

Broncos vs Commanders odds (Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC)

Opening line

Both the Broncos and Commanders were off in Week 12. Washington opened as a 6.5-point home underdog with the status of QB Jayden Daniels up in the air. The Commanders are also hoping to get stud WR Terry McLaurin back in action against Denver. This Over/Under number opened at 43.5 points.

Giants vs Patriots odds (Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)

Opening line

The Giants almost scored a huge upset over Detroit in Week 12 and now travel to New England as 7.5-point road underdogs. The Patriots continued their winning ways with a tough victory over Cincinnati, and could be down two starters on the offensive line for this Monday Night Football matchup. The total hit the board at 47.5 and has bounced between 48.5 and 46.5 in the first 12 hours of action.
