Who will win Chiefs vs Seahawks?

Covers senior betting analyst Jason Logan is backing Seattle at home in his Chiefs vs. Seahawks prediction.

Our prediction: Seahawks moneyline — Yes (58%)

"The Seattle Seahawks are rested and ready with the 12s on their side tonight, presenting a much stiffer test for the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

Kansas City hasn't faced a defense as good as Seattle's. Outside of a Week 1 win over Denver, the Chiefs have beaten defensive units currently ranked 21st or worse in defensive DVOA.

Seattle ranks No. 2 in defensive DVOA, and its four-man front is the biggest reason I'm taking the home team to win outright."

Sunday Night Football spread prediction

Outcome Yes probability No probability
Kansas City Chiefs Chiefs +2.5 49% 51%

Our prediction: Chiefs +2.5 — Yes (49%)

Chris Vasile is taking Kansas City with the points in his NFL picks against the spread for Week 7.

"Kansas City improved to 5-0 with a 22-6 win over the Chargers, leaning on defense rather than needing a Patrick Mahomes masterpiece. Seattle is a difficult place to visit, and the Seahawks have the defensive talent to make this uncomfortable.

Getting points with Mahomes in what looks like a tight prime-time matchup is appealing. I trust his ability to manufacture enough important drives to keep Kansas City inside the number."

Sunday Night Football total prediction

Outcome Yes probability No probability
Under 42.5 52% 48%

Market lean: Under 42.5 — Yes (52%)

Logan leaned toward a lower-scoring game in his Chiefs vs. Seahawks early predictions.

"Seattle sits second in pressure rate per dropback and doesn’t need to rely on the blitz to cook up that intensity. The Seahawks are top 10 in both sacks and QB hits. Getting constant pressure from just the front four is the blueprint to beating Mahomes.

Kansas City’s QB is a master at dissecting blitzes but struggles under pressure from a four-man rush, with his PFF rating dropping nearly 25 points when under duress. Injuries at left tackle are mounting, with Josh Simmons still working his way back and Jaylon Moore in the concussion protocol.

Neither defense gives up big plays, sitting among the leaders in limiting explosive passes, and both offenses are very methodical. The Seahawks and Chiefs eat up a lot of play clock per snap and rarely run no-huddle."

Sunday Night Football player props

Passing prop: Sam Darnold Over 0.5 interceptions (52%)

Chris Hatfield thinks Sam Darnold could struggle, and he outlined why in his Chiefs vs. Seahawks prop picks.

"Sam Darnold has thrown an interception in all four games since returning from his glute injury: seven picks on 147 attempts, and one every 21 throws.

The market still prices him as a coin flip to throw one, and the same as Mahomes. Why?

Darnold ranks 28th of 33 qualified quarterbacks in EPA per play, and Seattle sits 30th in rushing EPA, so this offense lives on his arm. He's averaged nearly 37 attempts over that stretch and taken 13 sacks in his last three games.

Now he faces a Kansas City defense ranked third in EPA per play that has forced nine turnovers in five games. Even at last season’s 2.9% interception rate, 35 attempts make a pick about 64% likely."

Anytime touchdown prop: Xavier Worthy — Yes (29%)

Hatfield also sees value in Xavier Worthy to score, especially with Rashee Rice out.

"Worthy owns a team-high 19.7% target share, played 81% of the snaps, and caught seven passes for 73 yards last week. The scoring usage is better than the box score suggests: Worthy has four red-zone targets, two inside the 10, and has already converted a designed handoff near the goal line this season.

Seattle ranks second in defensive passing EPA, but linebackers Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt are out. Andy Reid can use motion, crossers, and backfield action to isolate Worthy against replacement underneath defenders."

Anytime touchdown prop: Patrick Mahomes — Yes (14%)

Josh Inglis is looking at Mahomes as a long-shot scorer in his NFL anytime touchdown scorer picks  anytime touchdown picks. for Week 7.

"Kenneth Walker is going to eat against his former team, but that could lead to overpursuit against the run and open up opportunities for Mahomes to bootleg the other way. He currently ranks 10th in the NFL in scrambles despite playing one fewer game than most of the players ahead of him.

This isn't the Colts, Dolphins, or Chargers, all of whom the Chiefs have handled lately. This should be a more competitive game, potentially increasing Kansas City's pass rate, which currently ranks 27th in DB%."

Chiefs vs Seahawks live markets explained

Kalshi event contracts can be bought and sold as the Chiefs vs. Seahawks game unfolds, meaning traders aren't necessarily locked into their original pregame position.

The probabilities will move throughout the game as the score, time remaining, possession, and game state change.

How do Chiefs vs Seahawks prediction markets work?

Kalshi is a federally regulated U.S. exchange where users trade directly on the outcome of real-world future events. Instead of traditional bets, users trade event contracts based on simple Yes/No questions such as "Will the Chiefs beat the Seahawks?"

Contract prices reflect the market's estimated probability of an outcome. A contract trading at 23%, for example, indicates that the market is assigning that outcome roughly a 23% chance of occurring. If the prediction is correct, the contract settles at $1; if it is incorrect, the contract settles at $0.

How does Kalshi differ from sportsbooks?

At a traditional sportsbook, bettors wager against prices established by the bookmaker. Kalshi instead operates as an exchange, with users trading event contracts against other market participants.

Another major difference is the ability to exit a position before an event is finished. If the probability of your Chiefs vs. Seahawks position increases during the game, you can sell the contract rather than waiting for the final result.

Why trade Chiefs vs Seahawks at Kalshi?

Kalshi offers several features that distinguish prediction markets from traditional pro football betting:

  1. Live flexibility: Contracts can be bought and sold as market probabilities change throughout the game.

  2. Probability-based pricing: Markets display the estimated likelihood of an outcome rather than traditional American odds.

  3. Transparency: Prices are driven by trading activity between market participants.

  4. Federal regulation: Kalshi operates as a CFTC-regulated exchange.
