My Rams vs. Raiders prediction backs Over 47.5 in a matchup featuring two vulnerable defenses and offenses capable of pushing the pace today. Las Vegas is averaging 27 points per game, while its struggling defense gives Matthew Stafford and Los Angeles a chance to respond with plenty of points.

The Rams are 3.5-point road favorites for today's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff on FOX at Allegiant Stadium. Along with the total, my NFL picks include a three-leg combo and Brock Bowers anytime touchdown play.

TOP PICK
Rams vs Raiders prediction today: Over 47.5

Calculators could be needed to keep up with the scoring between the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders, so I recommend this Over up to 48.5.

The Raiders average 27 points per game with the third-highest dropback success rate, and the Rams are missing impact starters at every level of their defense.

Los Angeles also ranks seventh in offensive DVOA and can score against a Las Vegas defense in a statistical freefall. The Raiders rank 30th in defensive DVOA and have allowed the highest EPA per play and success rate over the past four weeks.

Joe Osborne also expects points in this matchup, backing Over 48.5 in his Week 7 NFL Over/Under picks.

Covers COVERS INTEL: The Rams have used the fourth-least play-clock time on first and second down over the past four weeks, with the Raiders using the sixth-least time.

Rams vs Raiders combo

Las Vegas has covered the number in all three home games and five of six overall this season, so pairing Raiders +3.5 with Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to throw for at least 250 yards is a nice multiplier for this combo.

Stafford will need to air it out to keep pace today. On top of Las Vegas' broader defensive struggles, the Raiders have dropped to 27th in pass defense DVOA over the past four weeks.

  • Raiders +3.5
  • Over 47.5
  • Matthew Stafford 250+ passing yards

Rams vs Raiders player prop: Tre Tucker 40+ receiving yards

Raiders receiver Tre Tucker has hit this benchmark in each of the past five games while catching 22 of 31 targets for 344 yards. His high-end 15.5 yards per reception and 14.8 aDoT are his highest marks since his rookie season, and Las Vegas quarterback Kirk Cousins also sports an elite 120.1 NFL passer rating when targeting Tucker.

This total is in play up to 43 receiving yards, and it's also another opportunity to target the reeling Los Angeles pass defense.

Rams vs Raiders touchdown scorer: Brock Bowers

Las Vegas star Brock Bowers is a tight end by designation only, and he's found the end zone in six of his past eight games for seven total touchdowns dating back to last season.

Bowers has lined up in the slot on 44.4% of his offensive snaps and out wide 38% of the time, so he's a matchup nightmare for a Los Angeles defense that's allowed the second-highest EPA per dropback while ranking 29th in pass defense DVOA over the past two weeks.

I'd back Bowers to score up to 46% today.

Our Week 7 anytime touchdown value index also likes Bowers' role but cautions against paying too steep a price. For other scoring picks, see our NFL anytime touchdown picks for Week 7.
