Two teams coming off close late losses will look to get a boost to their seasons on Sunday when the 1-3 Las Vegas Raiders travel to Lucas Oil Stadium to take on the 3-1 Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts offense has still been rolling, and the Raiders defense is unlikely to be the one that stops them.

Find out who I like in my Raiders vs. Colts predictions and NFL picks for Sunday, October 5.

Raiders vs Colts prediction

Raiders vs Colts Best bet: Daniel Jones Over 226.5 passing yards (-114)

Daniel Jones has been a revelation for Indianapolis Colts fans who were expecting another disappointing season with poor quarterback play. Instead, Jones has been fantastic, averaging 269.5 yards per game through the air with seven total touchdowns to only two interceptions, and both of those were last week.

The Las Vegas Raiders defense ranks 23rd in passing yards allowed, 25th in passing efficiency, and 27th in pressure rate. They also rank last in the NFL in defending the pass when they blitz. Meanwhile, the Colts rank third in the league in passing against the blitz.

Jones leads all quarterbacks this year with 470 passing yards against the blitz. He also has a 61.5% success rate on such throws, which also leads the NFL. The Raiders have blitzed on 32.7% of opponent dropbacks, which is the 10th-highest rate in the NFL. However, they have generated pressure at the eighth-lowest rate in the league.

Even if this game is a blowout, Jones is going to be able to find plenty of opportunities to rack up the yards. He has hit this total in all four games this season, and the Raiders are unlikely to be the team that can stop him.

Raiders vs Colts same-game parlay

To add to my best bet, I will also include the Over, as this is likely to be another typical Colts game with plenty of points.

Finally, I am taking Ashton Jeanty to hit his rushing total as he broke the ice last week on a slow start to his rookie season and will continue to run hot.

Raiders vs Colts SGP

  • Daniel Jones Over 226.5 passing yards
  • Ashton Jeanty Over 66.5 rushing yards
  • Over 47.5

Our big-ticket SGP: Mitchell's Redemption!

After choking away a touchdown last week, Adonai Mitchell will get his redemption and find the endzone with Alec Pierce out with an injury.

Raiders vs Colts SGP

  • Daniel Jones Over 226.5 passing yards
  • Ashton Jeanty Over 66.5 rushing yards
  • Adonai Mitchell anytime touchdown
  • Over 47.5

Raiders vs Colts odds

  • Spread: Raiders +6.5 (-105) | Colts -6.5 (-115)
