A snooze-fest in last week's edition of Thursday Night Football could be made up for when two young stud QBs meet on Oct. 22.

My Patriots vs. Bears anytime touchdown scorer predictions and NFL picks highlight one player from each side while targeting an all-quarterback combo.

Good news: our very own Joe Osborne is expecting plenty of points at Soldier Field, as discussed in his full Patriots vs. Bears predictions.

Patriots touchdown pick: Hunter Henry

Do you know how bad you have to be for Kyle Pitts, of all tight ends, to score twice against you? After seeing that, I'll happily back Hunter Henry to find paydirt.

After a quiet start to the season, Henry has found the end zone in back-to-back games.

The New England Patriots should lean on their tight end more vs. the Chicago Bears, with both Romeo Doubs and Mack Hollins ruled out and A.J. Brown catching a case of the butterfingers.

Henry leads the Patriots in targets inside the 20 (five) and 10 (three), and his red-zone role will likely keep growing if recent performances are any indication.

At 6-foot-5, he's an excellent end-zone target for Drake Maye if Brown finds himself in double coverage. I would play this to 34%.

Bears touchdown pick: Roschon Johnson

Everyone is going to be on D'Andre Swift to score after his two-piece last week, but I prefer Roschon Johnson at 30% instead of Swift's 59%.

Kyle Monangai is likely sitting out for a third straight game, so Swift and Johnson will split the workload again.

Between the two, I was more impressed with Johnson's Week 6 play vs. the Falcons despite the fumble. He averaged 3.9 yards per carry (compared to just 2.8 for Swift) and had eight more receiving yards on three fewer targets.

Even though Swift played 58% of the snaps to Johnson's 40%, the latter still found paydirt. This Chicago offense leads the league with 160.7 rushing yards per game, and I wouldn't be shocked if both backs scored.

I'll just put my money on the one with a much better price up to 34%.

First touchdown scorer pick: A.J. Brown

Anyone who watched last week's Pats game saw just how rusty their big offseason acquisition was. It looks like Brown has caught a serious case of the yips, but Maye still tried to get him involved.

He had a team-high 10 targets and was even looked at in the end zone on a ball Maye threw too high.

If this team wants to succeed, it has to get Brown going, and I expect Josh McDaniels to draw something up for him when the Patriots get close. New England has scored first in all but one game this season, and its top receiver will add to the tally.

Long-shot touchdown pick: Caleb Williams

Caleb Williams was understandably hesitant to put his legs to use after returning from a hamstring injury that made us all think he would never walk again, but I think he runs with more confidence on Thursday Night Football.

In his first two outings, the former No. 1 overall pick scrambled 15 times, racked up 107 yards, and scored twice. In a game where Williams' receivers are trying to get open against the Patriots' secondary, he may want to hit the ground running as pressure mounts.

He took four sacks in Atlanta, and taking that kind of beating regularly isn't sustainable.

Aside from Josh Allen (who scored in their meeting), this is the most mobile QB the Pats have faced thus far. I'm willing to take a stab at this up to 6%, as are Jason Logan's Patriots vs. Bears props.

Patriots vs Bears touchdown combo

Caleb isn't the only QB in this game who can do it with his legs.

Maye is averaging 30 rushing yards per game and has a TD to his name. Maye had four touchdowns a season ago, and backing him to do so here gives us a fun all-QB combo.
