The Jacksonville Jaguars look to maintain their playoff push when they visit the struggling Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.
Jacksonville currently holds the final wild-card spot in the AFC and sits just two games behind the Colts in the AFC South. The Jaguars know they can’t afford to falter against a Cardinals team that has lost seven of its last eight games.

Jaguars vs Cardinals Best bet: Jaguars -2.5 (-115)
This is just the third time this season the Jacksonville Jaguars have been favored to win a game. In those games, they covered twice with a push, and I like that trend to continue against the Arizona Cardinals.
Last week, the Jags took care of business easily against the Chargers by running the ball early and often. Travis Etienne and Bhayshul Tuten both had strong outings and are ready to go per the latest injury report.
Liam Coen stressed last week the importance of getting that rushing attack going, and I’m expecting more of the same. It opened up the play-action game for Trevor Lawrence, who posted his best QBR against the Chargers since Week 6.
The Cardinals have allowed just six runs of 20+ yards this season, yet they’re allowing 4.3 yards per carry. Christian McCaffrey had a strong day against them last week, and the game before saw the Seahawks rush for 181 yards and two touchdowns.
Jacoby Brissett and the offense are struggling with turnovers as well, and that’s an area where the Jaguars thrive. Plus, the Jaguars' pass rush should cause issues against a very poor Arizona offensive line.
This defense is highly opportunistic, and giving Jacksonville a short field on offense will make things even easier against an Arizona defense ranked 28th in red-zone scoring.
Jacksonville has everything to play for, and the Cardinals are pretty much done in the toughest division in the NFL. I’ll gladly lay less than a field goal in this situation.

Tight ends have had a lot of success against the Jaguars this season, and Trey McBride will be looked for early and often. He’s been targeted 55 times in Brissett’s five starts, and has caught a touchdown in all five of those outings.
Travis Etienne has rushed for at least 58 yards in three straight games and finished with 73 last week. He and Bhayshul will split carries, but Etienne should get enough volume to clear his total against this rough Cardinal run defense.

We'll go back to McBride to cash in on his receiving yardage total. He’s been the target on more than 25% of Brissett’s throws, with the quarterback averaging more than 42 attempts per start.
McBride has 72+ yards in four of his last five games, and has at least 115 in each of the previous two. Jacksonville is very good against the run, so we should see Arizona throw a lot again, with McBride getting plenty of opportunities.
Jakobi Meyers and Lawrence hooked up five times on six targets last week, and the Jaguars quarterback looked his way multiple times on key downs. He’s got an elevated yardage total this week, but I like his reception total.
