Who will win Baylor vs UCF: Baylor +1.5
UCF is coming off a win over No. 2 BYU, marking the program’s first victory over an AP top-five team.
Now, the Knights have a massive target on their backs as they draw a Baylor team that just fired head coach Dave Aranda after nearly seven seasons. There’s nothing more glorious than the coach-firing bump.
This Knights team isn’t all that impressive, either. Outside of Week 8, UCF hasn’t been competitive against quality competition, with losses to Pitt, Houston, and Oklahoma State. Its other three wins came against TCU, Georgia State, and Bethune-Cookman.
With that win over BYU clearly serving as its Super Bowl, the Knights should regress this week against the Bears.

The Bears will likely generate the most points in this matchup, which is why I like them overall. UCF ranks 118th nationally in passing yards allowed per game, giving Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway a chance to carve up this mediocre pass defense.
The Bears average nearly 270 passing yards per game this season, ranking 20th nationally.
Baylor also boasts a strong defense, allowing just 18.3 points and about 380 total yards per game. Even with the Bears' stout defense, the Knights should still find a way to get on the board.
In the end, though, Baylor should do most of the heavy lifting to push this total over the finish line.
