One of the best running backs in NFL history is mired in one of the worst stretches of his career, but the latest Derrick Henry next team odds expect King Henry to remain in Baltimore through next Tuesday's NFL trade deadline despite the Ravens' descent.
Things reached a low point Thursday night when the Ravens lost their fourth straight with a 33-10 defeat to the Jaguars, a game that saw Henry take 10 direct snaps but finish with just 57 yards on 17 carries. That has other potential contenders — like the Patriots and Giants — circling as possible landing spots for the 32-year-old rusher before the Nov. 10 deadline.
Here's a look at the latest odds around Henry's possible departure, including the favorites to trade for him and my prediction for where he'll be after the deadline.
- The Patriots and Giants have reportedly shown interest in Henry.
- The Ravens' Brissett trade and recent reporting point toward Henry staying in Baltimore.
- The Patriots are my preferred landing spot if the Ravens decide to sell.

Will the Ravens trade Derrick Henry?
Before Thursday's loss, James Palmer reported that Baltimore planned to hold onto Henry through the deadline. That was reinforced on Saturday when ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Ravens aren't expected to trade Henry and recently told him that they had no intention of trading the veteran back even with the team's ongoing struggles.
Even so, that hasn't stopped other teams from inquiring about his availability. The Patriots and Giants are both reportedly interested in Henry ahead of the deadline, while Jason La Canfora reported that executives around the league expect a third-round return if he does get dealt. That seems like a tough pill to swallow for a team with title aspirations.
For what it's worth, Henry has been adamant that he wants to stay in Baltimore. He told reporters that "I have not mentioned me going anywhere else" in the immediate aftermath of Thursday's loss to the Jaguars, and he's routinely brushed aside speculation about any potential trade while the Ravens' season spirals with Lamar Jackson on the sidelines.
Baltimore tried to stem the bleeding with this week's trade for Jacoby Brissett, which was finalized Friday, and the team has more than a week to prepare for his first start against the Chargers on Nov. 16. Dealing Henry before Brissett takes a snap would seem to be an odd conflict for a front office tasked with building an immediate contender.
Henry is under contract through 2027, but his base salary next year isn't guaranteed, so a buyer could absorb the remainder of his $1.3 million base salary this season without being on the hook for any money next year on the 32-year-old back.
Derrick Henry next team odds analysis
Patriots | 'Yes' 46¢
If Baltimore changes course, the Patriots are still the team I'd watch closely.
Mike Vrabel coached Henry with the Titans, and he saw firsthand the way that an elite rushing threat helped transform Ryan Tannehill into one of the league's most effective passers. A back like Henry could be just what Drake Maye needs to return to MVP form after a rough start to his junior campaign.
New England could also use the backfield help after TreVeyon Henderson disclosed Friday that he had been hospitalized after experiencing unexplainable neurological symptoms, and the Patriots have ruled him out against the Packers. That leaves Rhamondre Stevenson, who's averaging 3.8 yards per carry, to lead the backfield Sunday and beyond.
Giants | 'Yes' 48¢
John Harbaugh coached Henry for two seasons in Baltimore, so it's no surprise that the Giants would be interested in acquiring the star rusher to help J.J. McCarthy down the stretch with the NFC East title in sight.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. is on injured reserve, and the Giants listed Cam Skattebo as doubtful against the Eagles with a hamstring injury after a limited Friday practice. There's also a price to consider for any longer-term help, as New York is light on future draft capital — one reason why the team is linked to Ravens backup rusher Justice Hill as a cheaper alternative to Henry.
Broncos | 'Yes' 31¢
The Broncos remain among the favorites by the latest Jonathan Taylor next team odds, and they are still clearly in the mix with the Colts open to trading Taylor ahead of the deadline. But if Denver strikes out on Taylor, Henry could be a strong consolation prize with less long-term value but a similar opportunity to bolster the offense this season.
Running back remains a pressing concern for the Broncos with RJ Harvey on injured reserve. Henry could find more room to run behind Denver's offensive line than he has in Baltimore under offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, who is a Sean Payton disciple.
Derrick Henry next team odds prediction
Ravens
I'd expect Henry to stay in Baltimore through the NFL trade deadline. The latest reports all reiterate the idea that the Ravens have no interest in moving their star rusher despite their four-game losing streak, and the market has strengthened in Baltimore's favor with the other top landing spots shrinking in price into the weekend.
- The Ravens have already told Henry he's staying put. Things can obviously change with a godfather offer, but it would be a poor move to communicate that level of certainty to a franchise pillar only to reverse course within a week.
- The Brissett trade signals a win-now mentality. Baltimore didn't pay a hefty price to acquire the veteran QB, but it still sent off valuable draft capital for a short-term solution — an odd move for a team prepared to trade away an elite running back.
- Henry wants to finish his career in Baltimore. He said as much this summer, and his contract gives him another season to do it. I think he'll eventually retire a Raven.
Strategic considerations for traders
- Watch for an offer. A report that the Ravens are considering a specific return for Henry would change my read. Another team needing a back is already part of the case.
- Follow the other backs. Taylor is drawing offers, and Hill reportedly drew a call from the Giants. A trade for either could fill a need without involving Henry.
- Check the price you can buy. Twenty Ravens contracts traded at 89¢ early Saturday. A limit order lets me set that entry price even when the asking price is higher.
How to trade Derrick Henry on Kalshi
Prediction markets let you buy Yes or No contracts on where Henry lands. Each winning contract pays $1 at settlement. The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. ET, but this market covers his next team before Dec. 1, 2026. Ravens Yes wins if he stays with Baltimore through that cutoff.
- Account setup. Create and fund an eligible Kalshi account.
- Find the market. Search for Derrick Henry's next team and confirm the Dec. 1, 2026 cutoff.
- Choose your price. Check the current price and fees. A limit order lets you set your entry price, including the 89¢ target for Ravens Yes, but may not fill.
- Monitor. Follow credible reporting and review your position. You can try to sell before settlement, but an exit requires a willing buyer.
