Buccaneers vs Seahawks Best bet: Seahawks -3.5 (-110)
Both teams sit at 3-1, and both have serious playoff aspirations. There are also question marks around the teams that have played.
The Seattle Seahawks lost their season opener but have followed that up with three straight wins. However, a closer look shows that victories came against the Steelers (3-1), Saints (0-4), and Cardinals (2-2).
Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have beaten the Jets, Falcons, and Texans and lost to the Eagles last week, meaning that they have yet to beat a team without a winning record. Baker Mayfield has shown some clutch moments late in games, but the Bucs can’t keep relying on him to pull off magic at the end of games.
We also need to remember that Baker Mayfield will be without Mike Evans and Bucky Irving, and that could be crucial, given the Bucs' 0-4 record in games without Evans since 2023.
The Seahawks have also been quietly going under the radar and surprisingly rank number one for defensive DVOA and sixth overall for offensive DVOA. The Seahawks aren’t glamorous, but they’re well coached and doing the basics well.
In Sam Darnold they have a QB who ranks inside the top 10 in competition percentage, QB rating, and yards per pass attempt.
This Seahawks team has allowed the second-fewest points per game, and with the injuries mounting for the Buccaneers, we’ll take the home team to cover the spread.

In addition to our best bet, we’re going to back Sean Tucker to have Under 27.5 rushing yards. The running back has had just one carry this season, and it came in the opening week, but with Bucky Irving injured, he’s expecting his role to grow.
For the final leg, we’re backing Kenneth Walker to score. Walker led the backfield in Week 4, and that should happen again on Sunday.

Our lottery same-game parlay is going big by adding two legs to our above SGP. For the first one, we’re backing the Bucs’ Cade Otton to score. The tight end hasn’t found the end zone yet, but this game gives him a great opportunity with Evans being ruled out.
No team has allowed more tight end receptions than the Seahawks, so we could see Otton get his first score of the season and big odds.
We’re also backing Cooper Kupp to have Over 3.5 receptions. It’s a number that he’s hit in two of four games this season, and most crucially last week. He‘s averaging five targets per game and should get plenty of targets in a game that looks like it could be fairly close.
