Best Memphis vs Tulane combo

This combo works if the game starts a little tighter than the full-game total suggests, then opens up after halftime. Tulane needs to stay within striking distance early, so Memphis has less reason to turn the second half into a clock-killing exercise.

From there, both offenses can trade explosive plays. That gives the first-half Under a path to cash without fighting the full-game Over, while Tulane staying competitive supports both the spread and a higher-scoring finish.

Check out our full Memphis vs. Tulane predictions.

Best Washington vs Purdue combo

Coming off two straight upset wins against overrated teams, Purdue could lose this game outright, especially on a short week. Washington has an underrated defense that's 26th nationally in net EPA per play and 13th in EPA per rush.

Purdue has been inconsistent against strong defensive teams. The Boilermakers have played two teams with defenses ranked in the Top 35 by SP+ and failed to cover in both those games (losing by an average of 26.5 points). Washington's defense ranks 32nd.

Even with the Huskies' QB situation, their massive defensive advantage could help them pull off the upset.

Best Ohio State vs Indiana combo

Ohio State can land the first punch without controlling the game for four quarters. An early Buckeyes lead would force Indiana to open things up, which should create the kind of shootout this combo needs.

The key is Indiana responding instead of letting Ohio State create separation. If Cignetti makes the better second-half adjustments, like he usually does, the Hoosiers can erase an early deficit, keep the score climbing, and stay within a field goal in the process.

Best Florida vs Texas combo

This combo is built around one game script: Florida hangs around early, then Texas takes over. Coming off two straight blowouts, the Gators should come out with urgency, and an offense that ranks 8th in EPA per pass can keep them close for a half. Texas’s offense isn’t built to jump out to fast leads either.

The second half is where the Longhorns’ advantages show up. Florida’s defense ranks dead last in 3rd and 4th down success allowed, and long Texas drives should wear the Gators down, pull away on the scoreboard, and eat clock to keep this under the total.

Check out our full Florida vs. Texas predictions.

Best Mississippi State vs LSU combo

There's a chance LSU’s defense controls the game from the opening snap, and this combo attempts to capture that.

MSU's offense will need time to settle in, especially with Taylor either limited or out, which gives the Tigers a chance to build an early cushion at home.

LSU also owns a +5.4-yard edge in net field position (19th), setting up short fields that will help the Tigers pull ahead while keeping the total in check.

Best Alabama vs Tennessee combo

One word describes Tennessee's passing game: rocky. The Volunteers are 128th nationally in pass success rate (33.8), and MacIntyre has a QBR of 24.7 this season. That won't cut it against an Alabama defense tied for the 14th-most sacks in the country (17).

I'm expecting a fast start from Russell after last week's tough loss to Georgia, and once Bama takes the lead, Tennessee isn't equipped to come back with MacIntyre behind center.

The Tide, who are ninth nationally on defense in rush success rate (35.4%), should be able to focus on slowing Bishop enough to win by 10+ points.

Best Penn State vs Michigan combo

With both teams boasting talented defenses, I lean toward the Under. It's also tough to back the favorite when its quarterback has been unreliable and keeps turning the ball over.

The Nittany Lions are worth backing at +6.5, especially in a game that should feature plenty of defensive stops and limited scoring. If you combo all three plays, you get 4.43x.

Check out our full Penn State vs. Michigan predictions.

Best Auburn vs Georgia combo

Playable to 25%.

Georgia has legitimate championship aspirations, with a roster that features one of the most formidable defenses in the country. No team has scored more than 20 points against the Bulldogs to date in 2026, and only Western Kentucky (14 points in garbage time) has scored more than 17 points against Georgia.

The Bulldogs like to get up early, then took their foot off of the gas pedal late — possibly due to good sportsmanship, or more probably because they are prioritizing player health and safety after the game is securely out of reach for their opponent. Georgia's most important games aren't likely to come until the playoffs.

Expect them to get out to a big lead early, then take the air out of this game script in the second half.

Best Arizona State vs Texas Tech combo

Backing Texas Tech to take care of an Arizona State team that has not done anything against quality opponents, while adding the over to the equation and getting 4.29x, is well worth the squeeze in my book. I fully expect the Red Raiders to carry the scoring load and hope the Sun Devils can sprinkle in a few late scores to push this over.

Check out our full Arizona State vs. Texas Tech predictions.

Best Missouri vs Ole Miss combo

Playable to 36%.

Missouri's early-season road struggles are difficult to overlook, especially heading into a ranked matchup against a top-tier SEC opponent.

Expect this to be a physical game between two top schools, but for Ole Miss to prevail at home. The wind could play a factor in keeping this total below such a high number.

Check out our full Missouri vs. Ole Miss predictions.

Best North Carolina vs Duke combo

Along with my spread and total picks, I'm also taking Duke to win the first half outright to complete a three-leg combo for this game. While North Carolina has clearly improved this season, this should still be a relatively straightforward home win for the Blue Devils, with Duke taking a halftime lead against its biggest rivals.

Check out our full North Carolina vs. Duke predictions.

Best Florida State vs Miami combo

My three picks above tell a clear game story, and that's always what I like to see in a combo bet. I expect both offenses to dominate, so I'm happy to back the Over on both teams while pairing it with a bet on the Seminoles to cover a massive spread in this rivalry matchup.

Check out our full Florida State vs. Miami predictions.

Best Wisconsin vs UCLA combo

This will be a sluggish contest in which neither team pushes the tempo. Both teams have stronger defenses than offenses, and Wisconsin's stop unit will thrive from the jump against a backup quarterback.

Check out our full Wisconsin vs. UCLA predictions.

Best Notre Dame vs BYU combo

Given the energy that the fans will bring to LaVell Edwards Stadium, especially with College GameDay on campus, I think Notre Dame's offense will get off to a bit of a slow start.

But Marcus Freeman and Chris Ash's defense shouldn't have much trouble against BYU with Martin out. The Fighting Irish's defense ranks No. 2 in early-down EPA per play and should put Bachmeier into third-and-long situations he can't get out of with his arm.

In the second half, the Cougars' defense will get gassed trying to make up for its offense, and Notre Dame should strike often. I have the Irish winning 31-20.

Check out our full Notre Dame vs. BYU predictions.

Best Kentucky vs Oklahoma combo

Oklahoma has scored just two first-half touchdowns over its last four games, including zero points in the first quarter during that span.

Meanwhile, the Wildcats have scored just 21 first-quarter points over their last five contests, failing to score in the opening 15 minutes in three of those matches.

Given how well both defenses have played, I'm backing another low-scoring opening stanza.

Check out our full Kentucky vs. Oklahoma predictions.

Best Utah vs Colorado combo

Utah can land the first punch without controlling all four quarters. If Colorado avoids the kind of high-leverage mistakes that buried it against Texas Tech, the Buffaloes should have a chance to hang around after the opening quarter.

A slower second half would also work nicely, limiting possessions and making it harder for Utah to create separation. That gives Colorado a path to cover without needing much offensive production.

Check out our full Utah vs. Colorado predictions.

Best New Mexico vs Hawaii combo

New Mexico has a huge edge up front, ranking 27th in offensive line yards and fourth in defensive line yards. Hawaii ranks 125th defensively, so it'll get manhandled up front as the Lobos instill their methodical, efficient approach from the opening snap.

Check out our full New Mexico vs. Hawaii predictions.

Best Nebraska vs Oregon combo

I’m expecting Nebraska to hang around early before Oregon’s talent and depth start to take over. If the Cornhuskers come out sharp, that can keep the Ducks aggressive instead of letting them settle into a conservative game script.

Oregon should still have enough offensive success to create separation, while Nebraska contributes enough scoring to keep the total moving. A competitive start followed by the Ducks pulling away in the second half gives all three positions a clear path to cash.
