Picking on the 1-4 Arizona Cardinals has been a common theme in our NFL survivor pool expert picks, and that's the case again as our experts look to navigate Week 6.
The Rams are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Buffalo Bills, and they now get a soft landing spot against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cards have dropped four straight games, with a 16.5-point average margin of defeat during that stretch.
Three of our experts are backing Los Angeles as part of our NFL picks, in addition to one rolling with the Colts.

Dustin Saracini’s expert pick: Rams
I enter Week 6 unscathed, and I'm once again fading the lowly Arizona Cardinals. The 12.5 spread is the largest in the NFL Week 6 odds, and for good reason.
The Los Angeles Rams' offense ranks first in total yards, averages 23.8 points per game, and is one of the best third-down units in football (44.6%).
The Cards counter with a bottom-five defense. They've allowed the most points per game (32), are allowing teams to score at a 76% clip in the red zone, and are averaging 379 yards against each week. This is shaping up to be an absolute blowout.
Josh Inglis' survivor pick: Colts
Let's roll with one of the touchdown-plus favorites. It's a home team facing the lowest-scoring squad in football by a far margin.
The Indianapolis Colts are healthy on both sides of the ball, while 75% of the Tennessee Titans' starting secondary is questionable to begin the week. This is the only spot to back the Colts.
Joe Osborne's survivor pick: Rams
The Rams couldn’t ask for a better bounce-back opponent than the bottom-feeding Cardinals. Arizona is dead last in net yards per play and allows the most points per game. L.A. earned dominant 28- and 17-point victories following losses last season. Don’t expect the Rams to play with their food.
Geoff Clark’s expert pick: Rams
The Rams are coming off a loss, are third in the NFC West, and they're one of four 2-3 teams in the NFC, so they should be fully focused for this game. Barring future injuries, this is the best time to use the Rams because Sean McVay is 16-3 straight-up all-time against the Cardinals, who have looked as bad as their preseason projections suggested after beating the awful Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1.
