No. 13 Missouri visits No. 9 Ole Miss this Saturday, Oct. 17, in one of Week 7's most highly anticipated matchups.

My Missouri vs. Ole Miss prediction and college football picks have the Rebels dominating this contest as 5.5-point favorites.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi.

 TOP PICK
Who will win Missouri vs Ole Miss: Ole Miss -5.5

Playable to 53%.

Heisman contender Trinidad Chambliss has propelled Ole Miss to a 4-1 SU start to the season, including wins over No. 24 Louisville and No. 7 LSU.

The Rebels were blown out by the Gators in an emotional letdown spot after getting revenge on Lane Kiffin, who left Ole Miss prior to the team's appearance in last year's College Football Playoff to take more money at LSU. Other than that, Ole Miss has looked like one of the best teams in the nation.

In Week 6, Ole Miss scored a touchdown on four of its first five possessions against Vanderbilt — a team that held Auburn to 21 points and gave Georgia its toughest test of the season.

The market is showing Missouri a lot of respect following consecutive blowout wins against Florida and Texas A&M, but both of those games were played at home. In its only road matchup against a ranked opponent, Missouri allowed 31 points and 499 yards of total offense to Mississippi State.

Missouri was also on upset alert earlier this fall in a road game at Kansas, which was tied 14-14 at the half before the Jayhawks turned the ball over on each of their first two possessions of the third quarter.

Traders should not disregard Missouri's early-season road struggles. They also shouldn't overlook how much this game means for the Rebels, who haven't defeated the Tigers in a football game since 1974.

Home-field advantage and a little extra motivation to end a historic losing streak could be deciding factors in Ole Miss successfully covering.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Under head coach Eliah Drinkwitz, Missouri is only 8-9 ATS as a road underdog in SEC play.

Missouri vs Ole Miss Over/Under pick: Under 58.5

Playable to 51%.

The Under is 8-2 in the Rebels' last 10 games as a home favorite. Windy conditions this weekend in Oxford could contribute to some struggles throwing the ball downfield, which has the potential to limit explosive plays through the air.

Trinidad Chambliss' dual-threat ability will allow Ole Miss to consistently move the chains and put itself in a position to score, but Austin Simmons and the Missouri offense could struggle if they can't get their ground game going.

Ole Miss held LSU to 4.0 yards per carry and Vanderbilt to 2.8 yards per carry. If it has similar defensive success in Week 7, it's difficult to see Missouri's offense doing enough to push this game Over.

Missouri vs Ole Miss combo

Playable to 36%.

Missouri's early-season road struggles are difficult to overlook, especially heading into a ranked matchup against a top-tier SEC opponent.

Expect this to be a physical game between two top schools, but for Ole Miss to prevail at home. The wind could play a factor in keeping this total below such a high number.
