College GameDay broadcasts from the Lawn at Heritage Halls on BYU's campus in Provo, Utah, on Saturday, Oct. 17. The show airs from 9 a.m. to noon ET (7 to 10 a.m. MT) on ESPN and ESPNU. Notre Dame vs. BYU follows tonight at LaVell Edwards Stadium with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
BYU improved to 5-0 with a 24-10 win over Iowa State last Friday, while Notre Dame rolled past Stanford 58-7 to reach 6-0. That sets up the first-ever matchup between two top-10 teams in Provo and GameDay's second all-time visit to BYU's campus.

Where will College GameDay be in Week 8?
Ole Miss at Texas is the current favorite to host College GameDay in Week 8 with Austin trading at 74% for Saturday, Oct. 24. Madison and Minneapolis are tied at 5%, followed by Cincinnati at 2%.
No. 7 Texas and No. 9 Ole Miss offer a potential top-10 matchup in ABC's 7:30 p.m. ET slot, provided the Longhorns beat Florida and the Rebels handle No. 13 Missouri today. GameDay already visited Austin in Week 2, but two top-10 teams in prime time give ESPN a strong reason to return.
Wisconsin is 4-1 after four straight wins and can strengthen its case by beating No. 12 UCLA on the road today. No. 19 USC is 6-1 and off this week, so a Badgers win could set up a ranked matchup at Camp Randall with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

How are College GameDay locations chosen?
ESPN doesn't publish a specific formula for choosing College GameDay locations. The show naturally gravitates toward some of the biggest and most consequential games on the college football schedule, but rankings aren't the only factor.
Major rivalries, conference and playoff implications, national storylines, campus atmosphere, and previous history at that location all factor into ESPN's final decision. The show has shown a preference for new locations in recent years, though it won't turn down a marquee matchup when available.
ESPN also has complete discretion over the final destination, which is why the Kalshi markets should be viewed as live projections rather than official selections.
