After their massive win over Notre Dame, the BYU Cougars fell to UCF the next week, which felt pretty inevitable since the win over the Irish was their biggest game of the year. Now, they have to put that road loss behind them and gear up for the Arizona State Sun Devils, with a trip to Utah looming on Nov. 7.
The Sun Devils are coming off a nearly 30-point blowout loss to Texas Tech in Week 7, but bounced back the following week with an 11-point win over Kansas State as short underdogs.
With this game back in Provo, the Cougars should be ready to get back on track and run the table the rest of the way. Arizona State's defense is going to have a tough time containing the Cougars' ground attack, as the Sun Devils have struggled to stop the run all season.
Arizona State is allowing 4.5 yards per carry, while the Cougars are averaging more than 5 yards per carry. If BYU's ground game is humming, it could be a long afternoon for the Sun Devils.
