Who will win Falcons vs Colts: Colts -3.5
Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said earlier this week that most starters will not suit up here, but Riley Leonard and Anthony Richardson will share the reps under center. Leonard is expected to play the first half, while Richardson will take the second.
That gives Indianapolis a more interesting quarterback setup than the Atlanta Falcons, especially with Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski confirming his starters will not play after getting in most of their work during joint practices.
Leonard gives the Colts a cleaner first-half structure, while Richardson’s ability to run the football adds another layer after halftime. With a modest 3.5-point spread, Indianapolis has the better preseason setup if both quarterbacks put together efficient drives.
Falcons vs Colts Over/Under pick: Under 36.5
While Steichen is definitely giving two of his QBs a chance to do their thing, this feels more like an evaluation game for both teams after busy joint practices this week.
With mostly second-stringers and players trying to break the roster expected to suit up, the offensive ceiling drops immediately.
Unless short fields or defensive mistakes create easy points, this matchup has a stronger path to cash the Under in Indianapolis.
