Expert Week 8 CFB ATS picks

Louisville vs Miami (-13.5): Miami Miami -13.5

Both squads are coming off a bye, but at home, that's an advantage for Miami. The gap between the Canes and everyone else in the ACC will be felt in a dominant win.

LSU vs Vanderbilt (-2.5): Vanderbilt Vanderbilt -2.5

LSU produced just 19 points the last time it played away from home and has been a mess offensively all season long. Take Vanderbilt to score a win coming off a bye.

Oklahoma (-5.5) vs South Carolina: South Carolina South Carolina +5.5

Oklahoma is back on the road after mustering just six points in the Red River Rivalry last week. I'll take the points with what should be a desperate South Carolina squad at home.

Texas A&M (-7.5) vs Arkansas: Texas A&M Texas A&M -7.5

The Aggies have passed every test thus far, including games that would've caused issues for Texas A&M teams of old. Lay the points as the Aggies stay undefeated.

Mississippi vs Georgia (-7.5): Mississippi Mississippi +7.5

Did Mississippi struggle with Wazzu? Yes. Was Georgia a goal-line fumble away from probably losing to Auburn? Also, yes. I'll take the points.

Ohio State (-25.5) vs Wisconsin: Ohio State Ohio State -25.5

The Wisconsin team that just gave up 37 points to Iowa in a shutout loss at home? That Wisconsin team? Don't overthink this.

Texas Tech (-11.5) vs Arizona State: Texas Tech Texas Tech -11.5

These teams both played Utah at Rice–Eccles Stadium; Texas Tech won by 24 as a 3.5-point dog, and Arizona State lost by 32 as a 9-point dog. That's only scratching the surface of TTU's domination thus far.

Texas (-12.5) vs Kentucky: Kentucky Kentucky +12.5

I'm not here to say Arch Manning didn't look improved last week, but the 23-6 scoreline masks the fact that Texas scored just one offensive touchdown at home. Back on the road, a double-digit SEC spread could prove a tall task.

USC vs Notre Dame (-9.5): USC USC +9.5

Rivalry game aside, this is essentially Notre Dame's last chance to notch a meaningful win. I expect the Irish to win, but USC is playing well enough to avoid a huge margin.

Tennessee vs Alabama (-9.5): Tennessee Tennessee +9.5

Alabama's offense is rolling right now, but the same can be said for Tennessee. I expect the Vols to score just enough to stay inside the number.

Utah (-3.5) vs BYU: BYU BYU +3.5

BYU has won the last two Holy War matchups, is an undefeated 6-0 after an overtime win over Arizona, and gets this one at home. Take the points if the line remains above a field goal.
