Lionel Messi next club odds
|MLS - Any team||+250|
|Newell's Old Boys||+400|
For the first time since he was a child, Lionel Messi is not connected with FC Barcelona. Messi's contract expired at the end of June, and due to financial constraints within the club, they have not yet re-signed him.
Though he is a free agent, it seems like a near-lock he remains in Barca for the remainder of his career with Manchester City and PSG, the only clubs who could feasibly afford him, unlikely to do so. City manager Pep Guardiola, a Barca legend, has repeatedly stated his desire to see Messi play his entire career for the club, while PSG's priority must be to try and extend Kylian Mbappe's contract.
Cristiano Ronaldo next club odds
|China - Any team||+1,000|
|MLS - Any team||+1,000|
An underwhelming stint with Juventus for Ronaldo reached its apex this season, with the Italian giants only just sneaking into fourth in Serie A on the last day of the season, and getting knocked out of the Champions League by Porto in the Round of 16.
While it appears to be in both parties' interests to move on, like Messi, Ronaldo's wages could be a stopping point. PSG has long been rumored as Ronaldo's next destination and his inability to be a part of a pressing system would be well covered in Ligue 1.
Harry Kane next club odds
Kane has made his desire to leave Spurs known and, crucially, appears to be willing to publicly posture to get a move done with three years remaining on his current contract. Barring a sudden change to the transfer market, it looks like it's Manchester City or bust for England's captain, and the odds reflect that.
Kylian Mbappe next club odds
PSG have, time and time again, made it known they have no intention of selling Mbappe, but their hand is about to be forced. With just a year left on his contract and the Qatar World Cup just five months after that, PSG will no doubt put an astronomical wage in front of him to extend.
However, Mbappe has long let it be known he dreams of being Madrid's No. 7, and to extend with PSG and remain in Ligue 1 would be to halt his ascension to global superstar. So, PSG can either stand their ground and risk seeing him leave for free next summer or cash in now.
Robert Lewandowski next club odds
Fresh off a record-breaking campaign for Bayern Munich, serial goalscorer Robert Lewandowski recently began to appear in transfer rumors with Real Madrid reportedly considering him as a Mbappe alternative.
Lewandowski has won everything with Bayern Munich, broke a goalscoring record previously seen as unbreakable, and is 32-years-old. If there is one last major move in his career, it would make sense to see it this summer. For now, it appears just Madrid are interested, and they will wait on Mbappe's situation to reach a resolution before pursuing Lewandowski or anyone else.
Antoine Griezmann next club odds
Score one for wishful thinking. After nonsensically purchasing Antoine Griezmann to come into a team with no obvious place for him, the financially strapped Barcelona are hoping to move the French forward this summer. However, one of the best examples of Barca's rotten wage structure, Griezmann will no doubt prove too pricey for any club to make a move. He would be the highest earner by nearly double in the Premier League, and there's no reason to think he will accept a massive wage cut in order to end his dream move.
Erling Halaand next club odds
Already one of the world's best strikers at 21-years-old, clubs should be lining up to sign Halaand if he is available. However, there is no indication he is, as a release clause approximated around $100 million USD in his contract becomes active next summer. An offer would need to be upward of $150 million to tempt Borussia Dortmund into selling early, and after Jadon Sancho's exit, that may not be enough.
With City focused on Kane, it has been all Chelsea in Halaand rumors this summer, and while they have the cash to strike a deal, they may not find a willing partner in Dortmund.
Gareth Bale next club odds
Wales national team star and renowned golfer Gareth Bale is, once again, navigating an uncertain future. Bale has been on the outside of Madrid for years, and despite a positive end to his loan at Spurs and noted Bale-hater Zinedine Zidane's departure from the club, it seems like his time in Spain is over.
Bale has repeatedly alluded to a wild next move of his career, and he is never happier than when he is representing Wales, hence Cardiff City's place atop the odds board. Bale is an enigma, and his next club is a mystery at this point.
Jack Grealish next club odds
Aston Villa captain and England cult hero Jack Grealish has, time and time again, expressed his love for his boyhood club Villa. They have, up to this point, managed to keep hold of an incredible talent, and while new ownership should see the midlands club consistently competing in the top half of the Premier League, interest from City could be too great to hold off.
With a long contract in place and rich ownership, even a nine-figure offer from City could require Grealish to ask for a move in order for it to be accepted. Can trophies and tutelage of Guardiola tempt Grealish enough to sour relationships with his boyhood club?
Paul Pogba next club odds
Pretty much since returning to the club, Pogba has been rumored to be leaving Manchester United. While super-agent Mino Raiola is certainly the cause of many of those rumors, they won't go away until a new deal is signed. A move to Real Madrid became less likely after Zidane, a long-time fan of Pogba's left, with PSG taking over as the club most often connected to Pogba. However, PSG have an increasingly crowded midfield and may choose to allocate funds elsewhere.
Raheem Sterling next club odds
It seems ages ago, after Sterling was among the best players at Euro 2020, but the City attacker fell out of favor at the club during the second half of the season and his future appears to be uncertain. However, between Sterling getting to start the Champions League final and his heroics for England, City may be content to push forward with him. Plus, they may not have a choice, with most big clubs set on other attackers this summer.
Perhaps the only plausible way for City to get value for him would be as a part of the Harry Kane transfer, but there is no reason for Sterling to accept a move to Spurs.
Declan Rice next club odds
After performing superbly at the center of England's midfield during Euro 2020, an already-likely summer transfer looks even more certain for West Ham's Declan Rice. A boyhood Chelsea fan who was released by their youth academy, Rice will be eager to reunite with his best friend and Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount in London, provided a fee can be agreed between the two clubs.
Gabriel Jesus next club odds
After failing to take his chance as Manchester City's first-choice striker in 2020/21, Jesus looks likely to be sacrificed to the transfer market as Guardiola and City try to revitalize a forward line that was inconsistent last season. Juve has been most often connected to Jesus, but a move could be contingent on offloading Ronaldo's massive wages.
Kalidou Koulibaly next club odds
The towering center-back with the fantastic nickname of K2, Napoli's Koulibaly appears to finally be getting a move a couple of years too late. Now 30-years-old, Everton look primed to snatch the fantastic defender up at a cut-rate and reunite him with former Napoli manager Rafael Benitez, in what would be a great bit of business for the Merseyside club.
Isco next club odds
Seemingly on the outs at Real Madrid for years now, the Spanish giants — like their rivals Barcelona — are showing a renewed effort to offload deadwood and begin to solve nightmare finances. While Isco is in Madrid for preseason training, both North London clubs, Arsenal and Spurs, are reportedly showing interest in the versatile attacker.
Samuel Umtiti next club odds
The oft-injured Barcelona defender has massive wages and no place in Barca's team, so it's no surprise they are trying to do away with the Frenchman. An English club, be it Arsenal, Everton, Spurs, or another, are the most likely to be able to take on his inflated salary.
Hector Bellerin next club odds
The Arsenal right-back has reportedly agreed to a contract with Inter Milan, with the Italian club and Arsenal now needing to come to an agreement on price. With staggering -500 odds to head to Inter, it appears Bellerin's next club is all but sorted.
Houssem Aouar next club odds
One of the prizes of last summer who went unsold, Lyon's Houssem Aouar appears ready to move on after the French club didn't repeat their previous successes. Arsenal have been connected with Aouar since 2020, and while no business is ever done quickly at the London club, the Gunners look most likely to be his next destination.
Mikkel Damsgaard next club odds
Every major tournament launches a player into the middle of a transfer frenzy, and young Danish attacker Mikkel Damsgaard is the latest. After an excellent Euro 2020 with a Denmark team that made the semifinals, Damsgaard is sought after by a number of big clubs. With interest only recently emerging, it makes sense to see all the clubs quite tightly listed on the odds board.
It would be difficult for Damsgaard to turn down the glitz (and money) of a Juve, PSG, or Barca move, but a transfer to Dortmund would surely be the best for his young career.
Danny Ings next club odds
The former Liverpool striker has informed Southampton he will not renew his contract, and appears to be ready to try and make it at a major club after injuries riddled his stint with the Reds. City, Chelsea, and Manchester United are likely a step too far for Ings, but regardless of Kane's status next season, Ings would make a world of sense for Spurs.
Kurt Zouma next club odds
The Chelsea center-back is one of many Blues put on the market as they look to raise transfer funds, and he has a pair of familiar destinations listed. Everton, where he spent time on loan, would make sense, and manager Benitez showed an interest in Zouma while in charge of Newcastle United. Roma, meanwhile, are now led by Jose Mourinho, who managed him during his most recent spell at Chelsea.
Tammy Abraham next club odds
The Chelsea striker was unable to build upon a positive first season back with his parent club, completely fading from the picture after Thomas Tuchel took over as Chelsea manager. Aston Villa, where he had a successful loan spell in the Championship, would make a ton of sense, and so too would West Ham, who lack a target man up front.
