I'm backing a high-scoring affair and playing this up to 57% at Kalshi.
Newcastle have managed an unbeaten start despite coming into Matchday 4 having faced 61 shots — the most of any Premier League team according to Opta.
At the other end, the Magpies have put only eight attempts on target, which is the fourth fewest in the competition through three matches.
However, they lead the league with 3.03 goals above expected. And given their opponent this weekend, that sort of clinical finishing could lead to an enjoyable day for fans of offense.
Leeds United sit just behind Newcastle in shots allowed, having conceded 54 so far. They've been fortunate to have allowed just two goals from 4.52 xG, with only Hull having a better goals below expected mark on defense.
Newcastle and Leeds are both allowing north of 30 penalty box touches per match to their opponents, the most behind only Crystal Palace and Chelsea.
In a clash between two sides allowing far too many opportunities, I expect we'll see plenty of goals.
