Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Super Bowl Sunday! The most hotly-anticipated game on the sports calendar kicks off at about 6:30 p.m. ET at State Farm Stadium, as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles

If you're wondering what the latest Super Bowl odds are, trying to finalize your Super Bowl predictions, or just looking to add some Super Bowl props to your docket, we've got your back with our last-minute updates below.

Super Bowl 57 odds

Since the Chiefs opened as 1-point favorites just after Conference Championship Sunday concluded, and the Eagles took enough action to become 1.5-point favorites, the Super Bowl line has barely budged, save for a few cents of juice on either side of the spread.

However, Kansas City is taking 70% of the money on both the spread and the moneyline (+105), making them a rare public underdog choice. Squares went 121-149-8 ATS this season, including a 4-8 ATS mark this postseason.

The pros and joes appear aligned on the Over despite a high total of either 50.5 or 51, depending on where you look. The handle on the Over is 66%, and the share of tickets written is 72%. The Chiefs have taken 63% of the spread wagers, but only 36% of the moneyline bets.

Super Bowl 57 latest news

Neither the Chiefs nor the Eagles were favored in the preseason to reach the Super Bowl. Kansas City was +1,000, the second choice in the AFC behind the Buffalo Bills (+600). The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were overall second choices and tops in the NFC at +780, while Philadelphia was a relative longshot at +2,400.

The Chiefs seek their third Super Bowl title in their fifth-ever appearance in franchise history, while the Eagles have made three Super Bowl appearances prior to this season, winning one of them.

Though Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes carries no official injury designation ahead of Super Bowl 57, everyone on the planet knows that he's going through some sort of ankle injury, which he suffered in the Divisional Round against the Jacksonville Jaguars three weeks ago. If it's indeed a high-ankle sprain, three weeks is the most optimistic recovery time. And that doesn't take into account that he played on it in the AFC Championship Game against the Cincinnati Bengals two weeks ago.

Whether he's 100% or not, Mahomes has been saddled with a couple of "curses" this week. The "Magic Man" earned his second career MVP Award on Thursday night, but no NFL MVP has won the Super Bowl in the same season since 1999 (Kurt Warner). The last nine players to try to accomplish the feat have lost in the Big Game, including Tom Brady to the Eagles five years ago.

Kansas City will also have to overcome the "Drake Curse," as the star rapper shared with the world on Instagram that he placed $700,000 on the Chiefs to win Super Bowl 57 at +111. Drake broke out even in terms of his Conference Championship predictions (49ers and Chiefs), but rolled with the Los Angeles Rams in last year's big game and won. Nevertheless, his reputation precedes him.

Super Bowl 57 injuries

The injury reports have cleared up significantly for both teams ahead of Super Bowl 57. The only player listed with any injury designation is Eagles wide receiver and punt/kick returner Britain Covey, who is considered questionable with a hamstring injury.

This is a bit misleading though, as the Chiefs were forced to put wide-out Mecole Hardman on the IL on Monday. They subsequently activated running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire for the first time since Week 10. There was also some doubt as to the health of halfback Jerick McKinnon and wide-out Kadarius Toney prior to a few days ago, but they're both apparently good to go.

Super Bowl 57 weather

The Super Bowl will be played with the roof open at State Farm Stadium. The forecast calls for 74-degree weather at kickoff, eventually dipping to 59 degrees by 10 p.m. when the game will likely be settled. The only negative part of the forecast might be the wind, which will vary from five to 15 mph, while occasionally gusting at 20 mph.
